Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Psalm 28:7 - Anxiety says no. God says, 'I got you!'

Psalm 28:7 (NLT): ‘
The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.’

πŸ“God isn’t just our protector; He’s our power source. When we place our full trust in Him, we find real help and a joy that runs deep even when life feels heavy. The pace of life doesn’t slow down between responsibilities, family, work, and the unexpected. It’s very easy to feel worn out...

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Psalm 34:18 - When life hits hard, God holds harder. He’s near, He’s real, & He’s not letting go...

Psalm 34:18 (NLT):
‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed.'

πŸ“Hope isn’t pretending everything’s okay. It’s knowing that even when your heart is shattered, God is near. He sees the mess, sits in it with you, and gently reminds you that this isn’t the end.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose- Psalm 121 - Depression may whisper, but God’s Word speaks louder

Psalms 121:1-2 (NKJV): ‘I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? 2. My help
comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth

Affirmations:  πŸ“I’v faced a lot, but I don’t have to face it alone. My help comes from God, who never clocks out.

πŸ“Even when I feel worn down and invisible, I lift my eyes. My help isn’t gone, it’s from the Maker of all things.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Ephesians 5:20 - Even in my ‘what's going on' days… still thanking God

Ephesians 5:20 (NLT): ‘And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.’

πŸ“Feeling off today? Heavy, tired, or just kinda... meh, like me today? You’re not the alone. Life gets loud, and sometimes our energy just doesn’t mesh up. But even on the blah days, this verse reminds us: there's always something worth thanking God for.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Isaiah 41:10 - His love calms my fears and silences the lies in my mind

Isaiah 41:10 (AMP): ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’

πŸ“Today's verse is a promise for anyone facing fear, uncertainty, or exhaustion. It’s God saying, 'You are not facing this alone, I am right here with you.'

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Psalm 31:24 - Feeling tired? Overwhelmed?

Psalm 31:24 (NLT) - 'So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!'

πŸ“You are not lazy. You are not weak. You are not a burden...  You’re just hurting. Even if you can’t feel God right now, He’s still here. Still holding you. Still calling you worthy.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Jeremiah 17:7 - Stay Rooted

Jeremiah 17:7 (NLT) - ‘But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence’

πŸ“When everything feels heavy and uncertain, choosing to trust God is more than just faith — it's survival. It’s saying, “I can’t carry all this, but I believe You can.”πŸ₯€

MELT MY πŸ’— Daily Dose - 1 Chronicles 16:11 - Prayer to Seek God's Presence & Protection

MELT MY πŸ’— Daily Dose - 1 Chronicles 16:11 (NIV)
'Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.'

Came across this prayer as soon as I came online and it's exactly what I needed today to refresh my spirit so I have decided to re-blog.  With the Pandemic going on, a lot of us have lost family members, friends, some have lost there jobs, this is really a dark period for us and we constantly have to make an effort or at least try to refresh our spirits.  May God's love and protection continue to be upon us and may he give us the strength to endure these trying times.  This too shall passπŸ’—

Prayer to Seek God's Presence & Protection:

God, I ask you to forgive me for all the times I have been ungrateful for the things I have and what you have given me. Forgive me for being so blinded by comparisons with others that I become unable to see all the goodness and blessings in my life.
Turn my heart around so that I can experience the things that are for me to the fullest without looking down on them, for I know that things could be much worse and others would die to be in my position.
Your Word is clear “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you” (Joshua 1:9), so I ask Lord that you may lay your hand on anyone feeling afflicted and discouraged in the presence of the events of the world,
that you may keep them protected and that your ever lasting love can be felt in every single corner of the Earth, because you have plans for all of us, as your Word declares: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11).
Give us the strength to trust in your plan God Almighty and to have ever lasting life in your presence. Forgive us for our misdemeanors and the mistakes we make which bring you disappointment. We ask for your mercy, love and protection from anything and anyone trying to harm us as your beloved children.

In the name of Jesus, we have prayed. AmenπŸ™

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 9:1 - Thank u, Thank u, Thank you LORD

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 9:1  (NIV)

  'I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;

I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.'

Sometimes we are so caught up with the storms in life that we tend to miss God's blessing's in our lives. The little things we take for granted is treasured by others.  The fact that you are able to read this, you can hear, move around is a big blessing.  If you have a terminal illness and live in a developed country, even though the doctors have said that you have no hope, thank God that you have the opportunity to great medical care.  Think about others in countries with limited medical care or experts.

I remember hitting rock bottom with no job, healthcare and my unemployment benefit was cut.  I only had $5 to my name, sleeping in an empty studio with only a deflated air mattress, yes, I was literally sleeping on the floor.  One night I had a severe migraine that had me laying in a fetus position on the concrete floor.  With my $5 to last through the week, heading to the Pharmacy to buy medication was not an option, they were all over $5 a bottle.  I literally cried all night and had to wait until the next morning at 8.am to run to Dollar Tree (a store that sells items starting from $1), to buy a bottle of Advil Migraine for $1:-)

In this situation, I thank God that I had a roof over my head, heat, water, God gave me strength to endure, I had $5 (could have been $0), access to a Dollar Tree and I got better after taking the medication.  In every situation we should give thanks to God.  The devil will try to focus your energy on the negative, soon as you start praising God you feel a sense of strength.  Do remember Christianity is not only about the "feel good' sermons, there is also suffering, a lot of suffering actually.  I will get into this more in the near future.  Take time to think about God's goodness in your life, praise him and give thanks,  Remember he loves you unconditionally♥

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - 1 Timothy 2:1 - So many suffer alone...

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people"☔️πŸ™

If you are suffering from depression please remember that you are not weak.  You may just be drained from being strong for too long, tired of waiting, praying with no results, and may lack  support from friends or family.  In some cases you may think that you have it all yet still feel like something's missing in your life.  That's the demon of depression!  It's a dark place that's often hidden and we tend to suffer alone.  Who would have ever thought that the late Comedian Robin Williams suffered from depression leading to his suicide in 2014, or Rev. Teddy Parker of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Atlanta who made headlines after his suicide, read here.
It is real out there folks, the devil is at work.
I have suffered from severe depression and trust me all the books you read about meditating,  being social, exercising, etc to battle depression does not work if you are in a very dark place.  How do you genuinely make friends when you are not happy with yourself?  How do you exercise when you can barely get out of bed?  Believe me the only thing that works or helps is God.  No I am not trying to sound cliche or 'Religious', building that relationship with Christ is the only way and he will guide you through the healing process.  I found this out the hard way:-) that's why I am willing to share.  Alcohol, prescription drugs or narcotics, I call temps, the minute they wear off, you are worse than ever and even more down because you are getting to realize that you are heading to being an addict to add to the list of injuries in your life.  Been there, Done that!  Do not rely on man either trust me, I shared my experience with my then Pastor after my failed suicide attempt.  See previous post.
