Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Ephesians 5:20 - Even in my ‘what's going on' days… still thanking God

Ephesians 5:20 (NLT): ‘And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.’

πŸ“Feeling off today? Heavy, tired, or just kinda... meh, like me today? You’re not the alone. Life gets loud, and sometimes our energy just doesn’t mesh up. But even on the blah days, this verse reminds us: there's always something worth thanking God for.

No need to fake a smile or force the vibe. Gratitude can start small, 'I got out of bed today,' 'I can breathe', 'I have the ability to pray,' That’s enough. That’s progress. That’s praise. Tiny steps always count. Quiet prayers have been therapeutic for me. This is my worship, my strength and my hope.  You’re doing better than you think. Keep going, you’ve got this.πŸ’Ÿ

πŸ“Before you Pray, I tried this today and sharing with you...

Breath Exercise:  Repeat for 1–2 minutes, or longer if needed

  1. Sit or lie down comfortably
  2. Inhale slowly (while inhaling in your heart say): 'Lord, I receive Your peace'
  3. Exhale gently (while exhaling in your heart say): 'I release my heaviness'
πŸ“After the breathing exercise, Pray:
Dear God, thank You for today even the hard parts. Help me see the small things worth thanking You for. Give me strength for each step, and remind me that even my quiet efforts matter. I trust You, and I am still here. Even when I can’t feel joy, help me to trust that You’re near. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
πŸ“Faith-building activity:
  • Something that made you smile today?
  • How has the Gratitude excercise shifted your perspective today, even just a little?
