MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 9:1 - Thank u, Thank u, Thank you LORD

                          MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 9:1  (NIV)

  'I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;

    I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.'

Sometimes we are so caught up with the storms in life that we tend to miss God's blessing's in our lives. The little things we take for granted is treasured by others.  The fact that you are able to read this, you can hear, move around is a big blessing.  If you have a terminal illness and live in a developed country, even though the doctors have said that you have no hope, thank God that you have the opportunity to great medical care.  Think about others in countries with limited medical care or experts.

I remember hitting rock bottom with no job, healthcare and my unemployment benefit was cut.  I only had $5 to my name, sleeping in an empty studio with only a deflated air mattress, yes, I was literally sleeping on the floor.  One night I had a severe migraine that had me laying in a fetus position on the concrete floor.  With my $5 to last through the week, heading to the Pharmacy to buy medication was not an option, they were all over $5 a bottle.  I literally cried all night and had to wait until the next morning at 8.am to run to Dollar Tree (a store that sells items starting from $1), to buy a bottle of Advil Migraine for $1:-)

In this situation, I thank God that I had a roof over my head, heat, water, God gave me strength to endure, I had $5 (could have been $0), access to a Dollar Tree and I got better after taking the medication.  In every situation we should give thanks to God.  The devil will try to focus your energy on the negative, soon as you start praising God you feel a sense of strength.  Do remember Christianity is not only about the "feel good' sermons, there is also suffering, a lot of suffering actually.  I will get into this more in the near future.  Take time to think about God's goodness in your life, praise him and give thanks,  Remember he loves you unconditionally
