MELT MY π Daily Dose - 1 Chronicles 16:11 (NIV)
'Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.'
Came across this prayer as soon as I came online and it's exactly what I needed today to refresh my spirit so I have decided to re-blog. With the Pandemic going on, a lot of us have lost family members, friends, some have lost there jobs, this is really a dark period for us and we constantly have to make an effort or at least try to refresh our spirits. May God's love and protection continue to be upon us and may he give us the strength to endure these trying times. This too shall passπ
Prayer to Seek God's Presence & Protection:
God, I ask you to forgive me for all the times I have been
ungrateful for the things I have and what you have given me. Forgive me for
being so blinded by comparisons with others that I become unable to see all the
goodness and blessings in my life.
Turn my heart around so that I can
experience the things that are for me to the fullest without looking down on
them, for I know that things could be much worse and others would die to be in
my position.
Your Word is clear “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or
terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never
leave you or forsake you” (Joshua 1:9), so I ask Lord that you may lay your hand on anyone
feeling afflicted and discouraged in the presence of the events of the world,
that you may keep them protected and that your ever lasting love
can be felt in every single corner of the Earth, because you have plans for all
of us, as your Word declares: "For I know the plans I have for you,”
declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11).
Give us the strength to trust in your plan God
Almighty and to have ever lasting life in your presence. Forgive us for our
misdemeanors and the mistakes we make which bring you disappointment. We ask
for your mercy, love and protection from anything and anyone trying to harm us
as your beloved children.
In the name of Jesus, we have prayed. Amenπ
