Religion is the rulebook.
Relationship? That’s the rescue. Matthew 15:8 (NLT) - 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.'
I am a Grace-chaser on a mission to live with Purpose, even when life gets messy. Some days, I am quoting scriptures. Other days, I’m barely holding on, but Christ? He is always constant.
Welcome to my world of Inner perception, where Faith meets the mess, Grace wins☑, and Healing begins☑. Let’s Walk this journey together. π
Melt my π Daily Dose - When Faith Hurts... Finding Hope in Psalm 126:5-6
Psalm 126:5 (NLT): 'Those who plant in tearswill harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.'
π What feels quiet or unseen isn’t wasted time. God is still
at work, growing joy beneath the surface. You are doing the right things, praying, showing up, believing, and still crying in private. Today's daily dose doesn’t minimize that pain, it acknowledges the tears and promises they are not wasted. God sees what you are sowing in the dark.
Soul Dive: Psalm 126 is part of the Songs of Ascents (Psalms 120–134),
a collection of psalms traditionally sung by Israelites as they traveled to
Jerusalem for worship. The exact author is unknown, as the psalm
does not name a specific writer. Most scholars believe it was written
after the Babylonian exile, when God’s people were returning to Jerusalem
following years of captivity. Because of it's themes of restoration, joy, and
renewal, the psalm is often associated with the collective voice of Israel, rather than one individual author. It reflects a community who have experienced
deep hardship but are now witnessing God’s faithfulness. The message
is simple yet powerful; even seasons marked by tears and waiting, can lead to
joy and restoration through God’s work.
Psalm 126 was written to celebrate God’s restoration after a
season of hardship and to encourage continued faith while waiting for full
renewal. It reflects the joy of what God has already done and the hope that He
will continue to bring restoration, even when the work is still unfolding. Mental reset: Even
when life feels heavy, your tears don’t disqualify your faith, they actually
prove it. Every small act of obedience in the storm, whether it’s a prayer, a
moment of patience, or an act of forgiveness, is like planting seeds of faith.
God’s timing never cancels His promises, and joy will come, even if you can’t
yet see how.
If you are sowing patience, prayer, endurance, or forgiveness while
hurting, Psalm 126:5-6: 'Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest,' andGalatians 6:9:'So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up'-NLT,remind us that a harvest
of joy is coming. Let this truth encourage you today. Your
faithful efforts in difficult seasons are never wasted, and God is at work even
when it feels unseen.
So, Where Do I Begin?Take a few quiet moments to bring it ALL to God in prayer. This quick exercise will help your heart begin to shift from brokenness to renewed hope, turning tears into seeds of hope and joy when placed in His hands.
➤5-Minute Reset: Tear→Seed Exercise
π’Step 1: Write down one thing that is making you feel weary, overwhelmed, or discouraged right now.
π’Step 2: Next to it, write how you are still choosing faith, how you are praying, trusting God, or refusing to give up even in the middle of the struggle.
π’Step 3: Hold that paper for a moment and say out loud: 'God, by faith I give You this seed. With your mercy I trust You with what I cannot control, Amen.'
πLet’s Pray:DearLord, right now my heart feels heavy, and I don’t know how
much longer I can carry this. In this pain, I come to You trusting that You hear even
the prayers I cannot speak aloud. I am tired, discouraged, and afraid to
hope, but I choose to place my trust in You. Father, bring Your peace to my weary soul. Lift the weight
that presses on me, and remind me that You are close to the brokenhearted
(Psalm 34:18). Even when I cannot see the outcome, plaese help me to believe that You
are working all things for my good. Strengthen my faith, renew my courage, and
fill me with your quiet, sustaining joy. Thank You, Lord, that I am never alone in my struggle, and
that my faithful efforts and prayers are never wasted. I surrender my sorrow
and my hope into Your hands, trusting that You will bring beauty from this
season of pain. Thank you dear lord & Savior, In Jesus’ name, Amenπ!
π‘ Remember, every tear you surrender to God can become a seed of faith. When you trust Him with your pain, He can grow strength, peace, and purpose from it. Trust His timing, keep sowing with faith, and watch
how He turns even the hardest seasons into a harvest of hope and celebration, Amenπ. Have a Blessed Day!
