Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - Why Do Challenges Increase When You Grow Closer to God? Gratitude in Faith...

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP): 'In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ
Jesus.'

πŸ“ You’d think that growing closer to God would mean everything starts falling into place, but sometimes challenges increase right when your faith feels stronger. : 9.Then Satan answered the Lord, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10.Have You not put a hedge [of protection] around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands [and conferred prosperity and happiness upon him], and his possessions have increased in the land. 11.But put forth Your hand now and touch (destroy) all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face.”

Survival mode kicked in, and I found myself questioning God instead of resting in faith.

Proverbs 26:27 (NLV):
‘He who digs a deep hole will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will have it return upon him.’

πŸ“If you’ve ever been lied about, betrayed, or quietly sabotaged by someone, you know the deep ache of injustice. And what's even annoying is sometimes it feels like the people who do the most harm walk away clean. However today's verse reminds us; Their plan to break you will boomerang in Jeus name...
