Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Micah 7:8 - You Will Rise Again, God’s Not Done With You Yet…

Micah 7:8 (NLT): '...Though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.'

πŸ“We all fall, sometimes hard... But failure isn’t final when God is in the story. Even when life feels dark or your faith feels weak, remember, the same God who raised Jesus from the grave is the one lifting you from your low place. Darkness doesn’t mean defeat, it’s often the space where new strength is born.

Soul Dive: This verse was written by the Prophet Micah, a man chosen by God to speak truth and hope to the people of Israel. They were going through dark times, moral decline, corruption, and loss of faith, yet Micah boldly declared that God’s people would rise again, not because of their goodness, but because of God’s mercy.  Micah wrote these words as a message of restoration. Israel had fallen into sin and judgment was coming, but Micah reminded them: failure wasn’t their ending. God’s light would shine again. It was a promise that no matter how deep the fall, grace still finds a way to lift us, Amen!

Vibe Check:  When you feel like you’ve fallen spiritually, emotionally, or mentally, this verse is your reminder that you will rise again. Maybe your faith feels dim or you’ve made mistakes you regret. God isn’t finished. He specializes in rebuilding broken things. Even when you can’t see the light, He is the light.  And that light is already guiding you out of the dark, one small step at a time. Claim it now, Amen!

Mental Reset: 'Rise Again' Faith Exercise'
➤Find a quiet space.
Write down one area of your life where you feel you’ve 'fallen', something that’s made you doubt, feel stuck, or ashamed.
Now beneath it, write: 'Though I fall, I will rise again. The Lord will be my light.'
Speak it aloud.
πŸ’Feel the weight lift as you declare it, not because you’re strong, but because God is your strength.

πŸ™Let's Pray:  Dear Lord, thank You for reminding me that my fall isn’t final. When I feel lost or faithless, please be my light. Help me rise again with renewed strength, purpose, and peace. Teach me to trust you even when I can’t see the way forward. I may be down, but I’m not done because You are my light and my hope. Thanks for your love Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
