Melt my ๐Ÿ’• Daily Dose - Luke 5:16 - Sometimes rest is the assignment…

Luke 5:16 (NIV): ‘But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.’

๐Ÿ“Step Away to Stay Strong:  Jesus didn’t disappear because He was overwhelmed.  He stepped away because He was intentional. He knew that quiet didn’t mean weakness, it meant wisdom.  He wasn’t running from people, He was running to the Father.
And if the Son of God needed to recharge in stillness, you better believe we do too. Quiet time with God wasn’t a reward after a long week, it was the reset that kept Him going.

In a world full of noise, demands, and pressure, Jesus chose solitude.  To rest, to breathe, to reconnect with the Father. If Jesus with all He carried made time to step back, then so can you.  You’re not failing just because you need a break. You’re not selfish for protecting your peace.  You are strong enough to pause and wise enough to know when.

You do not have to crash to justify rest.  You don’t have to explain why you need space. Stepping away isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom.  Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do… is pause.

Don’t let hustle culture rob you of holy moments.  Step away to stay strong. Jesus did!

Let’s Pray:  Dear God, help me know when to step away and sit with You. In stillness, refill my soul. Reset my focus. And remind me that I don’t have to carry everything.  In Jesus name, Amen๐Ÿ™.
