Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Psalm 18:28 - Even in survival mode, His light still reaches you…

Psalm 18:28 (NLT):
‘You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.’

πŸ“When You’re in Survival Mode, God’s Light Still Finds You…
Survival mode feels like an autopilot (going through the motions, functioning but not feeling). You are not thriving, you’re just getting through.  The prayers are short. The emotions are heavy. You’re not running; just crawling, trying to keep your head above water...

Even there, in that quiet struggle, God’s light reaches you not because you chase it, but because it pursues you.  In today’s verse: ‘You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness’ - Psalm 18:28 (NLT), God’s light is not a spotlight demanding performance. It’s a flicker that refuses to go out in your spirit. It’s the little things that we sometimes seem to take for granted.  It shows up as:

  • The strength to get out of bed again.
  • A comforting word from someone who didn’t know you needed it.
  • A breath of peace in the middle of a breakdown.
  • The verse that hits different when you’re broken.
Even in the fog, God is still guiding you slowly, gently, faithfully. His light isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it’s just there, and that’s enough to keep going. So don’t give up, keep striving. God’s got you🫢🏼❣️.

Let’s Pray:  Dear God, I don’t have much left in me, but thank You for not needing perfection, just my presence. Shine Your light into my darkness, and remind me You haven’t let go. In Jesus name, Amen.

🧎‍♀️Declaration I may feel stuck, but I’m not forgotten. I’m not just surviving, I’m being sustained by grace.  Each breath is proof that God is still with me.  I believe better days are already on the wayπŸ™.
