Romans 15:13 (NLT): ‘I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.’
πThis verse is a powerful reminder that hope isn’t just a feel-good concept, it’s a gift from God. When we choose to trust God, even in the middle of chaos or uncertainty, He fills us with deep joy and peace that doesn’t depend on our circumstances...
And the best part? This hope becomes contagious. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we don’t just survive, we overflow. So no matter the circumstance, walk in confidence knowing you’re filled with something the world can’t take away: hope that lasts forever, everlasting hope. May the Peace of God be with you today.
πI recommend you do this breathing excercise before you pray: Repeat for 1–2 minutes, or longer if needed
- Sit or lie down comfortably
- Inhale slowly (while inhaling in your heart say): 'Lord, I receive Your peace'
- Exhale gently (while exhaling in your heart say): 'I release my heaviness'
Let's Pray: Dear God, thank You for being my source of hope. Fill me with Your joy and peace today. Help me trust You more and share that hope with others. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
Faith-building activity: - Write it out
- One thing robbing your peace lately: Be honest & specific
- Find a bible verse that relates to this (Google e.g. bible verse that relates to stress, trusting God etc.)
- Write one proclamation and declare it in reference to this, be specific. Declare this all the time until your breakthrough: e.g. I trust God that this illness (flu, cancer, migraine etc.) does not define me, hope does. And that hope comes from You Lord. Through the blood of Jesus, I am healed.
Motivate others: (I feel so good when i do this, helps a lot with my mental health). Text, DM, or email someone a quick encouragement today, could just be a bible verse, a proclamation, Bless them, show appreciation, etc. Keep it short and to the point. Even in your chaos your bold step might be someone else’s breakthrough.
