Religion is the rulebook.
Relationship? Thatâs the rescue. Matthew 15:8 (NLT) - 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.'
I am a Grace-chaser on a mission to live with Purpose - even when life gets messy. Some days, I am quoting scriptures. Other days, Iâm barely holding on, but Christ? He is always constant.
Welcome to my world of Inner perception-where faith meets the mess, grace winsâ, and healing beginsâ. Letâs Walk this journey together. đ
Melt my đ Daily Dose - Psalms 86:6-7 - When the weight is too much to carry⌠I call on Him
Psalms 86:6-7 (NKJV): âGive ear, O Lord, to my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplications. 7.In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.â
đPsalms 86:6-7 reminds me that I am never alone⌠Life doesnât always slow down when weâre hurting. Bills still come, people still expect things from us, and the world keeps spinning, even when we feel like weâre barely holding it together. This is a quiet but powerful reminder that we have someone who hears us, even in the chaos.
David wrote this Psalm at a time when he was in deep trouble. Instead of going nuts, he ran to God. Not because things instantly got better, but because he trusted that God would answer. He wasnât praying into the void, he was praying to a God who hears, cares, and responds. He trusted that the same God who bailed him out in the past would resue him always,
Weâve all had days where prayers feel like whispers lost in the wind. But Psalm 86 reminds us that God is not distant. He leans in when we call. He listens not just to our words, but to our pain, our confusion, and even the prayers we donât know how to speak.
So if today feels heavy, if your heart is worn out, or if youâre waiting for an answer, take a deep breath and call out to God. Heâs listening and He will answerđ...
Breathing excercise:I recommend you try this before you pray, helps me to relax.Repeat for 1â2 minutes, or longer if needed: Sit or lie down comfortably
Inhale slowly (while inhaling in your heart say): 'Lord, I receive Your peace'
Exhale gently (in your heart say): 'I release my heaviness'
Let's Pray: Dear Lord, You hear me even when my voice is weak and my heart is heavy. In my trouble, I turn to You not because I always understand, but because I know You care. You have answered me before, I trust You. Please listen to my cry, hold me steady, and remind me that Iâm not alone. In Jesus name we Pray, Amenđ
