Melt my πŸ’• Daily dose - John 10:10 - The enemy’s playing dirty. But Jesus? He came to change the game!

John 10:10 (ESV):  '
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.'

πŸ“Jesus is talking to religious leaders who claimed to represent God but often burdened people with rules and shame, AKA living in 'Religion'. He calls out the difference between their approach and His mission. While others take, control, or harm, Jesus says He came to give not just life, but Abundant life.  One filled with purpose, peace, love, and freedom. A life where you’re truly known and valued.  A real connection with God. So how do you actually get and sustain this fulfilled life?
πŸ“Sometimes it feels like we are just surviving; mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, etc. This verse is an invitation that Jesus offers something more: a real, meaningful life.  Jesus didn’t come to start a 'religion'. He came to invite people into a relationship with Him. Abundant life starts by being connected to  the One who made you and knows you fully. Are you gonna accept and be willing to form an actual relationship with God? Remember, building a sucessful 'relationship' takes the effort of two ple. Jesus is offering his part, how about you?

πŸ“Breathing excercise: I recommend you try this before you pray, helps me to relax.
Repeat for 1–2 minutes, or longer if needed:
*Sit or lie down comfortably
*Inhale slowly (while inhaling in your heart say): 'Lord, I receive Your peace'
*Exhale gently (exhale): 'I release my heaviness'

πŸ“Let’s Pray: Dear Jesus, I do not have it all together, but I know I need You. I believe You love me, and I need You in my life.  Please forgive my sins.  With your mercy, lead me, and help me walk with You from here on. I put my trust and surrender to you Lord, pls come into my heart. Thank You for accepting me Lord. In Jesus name we Pray, Amen.”

πŸ“Affirmations for Abundant Life:
  • My life has purpose, even when I don’t see it yet.
  • I choose to walk in hope, not fear.
  • Jesus came to give me life and I’m open to receiving it.
  • Today, I step toward peace, not pressure.
  • I am not alone. God is with me.
