MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Matthew 17:20 - Feeling Stuck? Don’t Let Frustration Drown Out God!

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Matthew 17.20 (NKJV)
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Your Circumstances can speak louder than God If You allow them.  Feeling limited or stuck in life is one of the most frustrating experiences one can go through. The stagnancy is still there no matter your efforts nothing seems to change, this bondage/mountain is still there...  Remember that life is full of seasons.  Just because you know Christ does not mean your life will be 'smooth sailing' hence forth.  We all go through trials it's part of the process, how you choose to focus your thoughts depends on you and your redemption.
The sound of your misery and frustration can be deafening if not careful.  It can fill your senses to such an extent that you can’t think clearly, much less hear from God. The tendency is to either act rashly to remove the pain or to tune out everything…including wise counsel and the voice of God. That’s what happened to Israel during their Babylonian captivity. They couldn’t hear God’s voice speaking through His prophet because of their misery and distress.  Even though the prophet Ezekiel told them 'God had a purpose beyond their crisis…'but they refused to listen (Ezek. 12:2).  Furthermore, he told them they were stuck in their misery until that season in their history was complete. For this reason they hated the prophet, he was even killed by the very people to whom he was sent! His message was just more than they could handle.  They had no faith...
The reason for Israel’s bondage may not be the same as yours, but the principles concerning how to handle distress are the same. When you feel trapped by life’s circumstances, you need to know how to navigate your life, the plan of the enemy is to have you going around the same mountain with no solution or resolution leading you to backslide.  As the saying goes “The secret to happiness is freedom. The secret to freedom is courage. (Unknown)  Do not allow the devil to use your circumstances to disobey God.  Exercise the authority that God has given you and meditate on today's daily dose.  This is just a season it shall surely pass   When feeling overwhelmed:
1.  Pray.  Prayers can move mountains, Pray without ceasing.
2.  Don’t Interpret Your Distress Without God’s Insight.  When troubles arise, the tendency is to blame everyone else for your problems…including God. When God interprets your crisis, He opens your heart and refines your faith (1 Pet. 1:6-7).
3.  Seasons Change - Remember…Your dark experience Is Seasonal. Some circumstances have to run their course…you can’t hurry them up or make them go away if it's part of God's process for your life.   Begin to view your “Dark” experience as God’s “Light” shining into your life. Light exposes and purges. Once the season of purging is complete, God has a glorious future just waiting for you to step into (Luke 22:31-32).
4.  Be open to God's Counsel -  Ezekiel was a divine trumpet sounding an alarm from God (Ezek. 3:17-21). If only the Israelites had listened...  Don't reflect and regret, reflect and thank God for giving you the strength and courage to go through this.
5.  God Never Forgets His Covenant With You…And Neither Should You. God reminded His people of the Covenant He made with them during their youth (Ezek. 16:60-63). When trouble distracts you, it’s easy to forget.   Bind the devil and remember God's powerful words.  He is not a liar!
6.  Your story will change.  Your Valley of “Dry Bones” Will Live & change when God shows up, when his word comes to pass in your life.    Israel’s dilemma was described in Ezekiel’s vision: a slain army with dead men’s bones scattered and dry-rotted (Ezek. 37:1-14)! All hope was gone…until God showed up. Remember, no matter the situation you CANNOT live without God.  We need him so stay focused.
