"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, I Never will I leave you nor forsake you"
People may come in and out of our lives, hurt us, abuse us, but our God is assuring us that he WILL always be there for us through thick & thin. In today's society so many of us feel alone doesn't matter if you are single or married. I have often asked myself why do I feel so unfulfilled with life, is it a spiritual attack that I need to deal with or do I really need to socialize? It is evident that material things cannot feel in that void, some people may think differently but why are there millionaires who would say they are the most unhappy and lonely people in the world? Does it mean we have to be content and 'make do' with what we have as children of God?
Loneliness is very bad and if not dealt with can be very fatal. We hear of suicides all the time due to this. Some may ask well how can God fulfill my loneliness it's not like he is a physical being that I can talk to or interact with! I totally get you. You have to feel his presence, meditate, pray, read his word, find a faith building community, activity, etc. Do you need a bible study group? Make new friends, maybe start your own group or charity. Get into sports, do something! Ask God what the void is in your life because Satan uses this as a window to attack us. Being alone for some is hard, it leads to unbelief, depression especially when it's a rough season for you. All you can do is hang on to the word of God, make an effort to be social and hold God to his word. You were created for signs and wonders, in Genesis 2:18 " The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
If it is stated by God in the Bible challenge God, what is it in my life that's not allowing me to fulfill this promise? What do I need to do to get this blessing? If you are married this also applies to you? Why do I feel so alone when I have a partner? If you are in your joyous season, financially stable and still feel this void this also applies to you. God you have promised me and it has to be accomplished in my life. Remember, Persevere! Our God is not a liar, if you live in obedience his word must be fulfilled in our lives. Stay Blessed and please do your homework do not allow the devil to imprison your life. You are a child of God and you deserve happiness or if you are going through trials you should be able to hold your head up high. Nothing is too difficult for our Father ♥
