Why make Prayer aka.'fighting on my knees' our weapon??
As a Christian, the phrase 'fighting on your knees' reflects the belief that prayer is a form of spiritual warfare. Instead of relying solely on human effort or confrontation, we trust that God is actively involved in our struggles. Prayer becomes the 'weapon' through which we seek guidance, protection, breakthrough, and strength.
- Ephesians 6:12-18: reminds us about putting on the full armor of God to be able to stand against spiritual forces, emphasizing prayer as part of that defense.
- Philippians 4:6-7: encouraging believers to present every concern to God in Prayer, resulting in peace that guards the heart and mind.
When we chose to Pray instead, we are actively engaging our challenges through faith, surrender, and reliance on God’s power, rather than only through human effort. It’s a way to take our battles to the One who can ultimately change circumstances. Let's take heed of this, know it's hard but at least try... Have a Blessed Dayπ.
Soul Whisper:
Think about the last time you wished you had held your tongue. What could have
been different if you had paused first?
Let's Pray: Dear Lord, help me guard my words today. Give me the patience to pause before I
speak, and the wisdom to choose words that bring life, not damage. Amenπ.
π‘Sometimes the strongest thing you can say is nothing at all...
