Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Romans 8:18 - This Won’t Be the End of My Story

Romans 8:18 (NLT)
says:
‘Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.’

πŸ“ When life feels unbearably heavy, God invites us to lift our gaze beyond the present moment. The 'now' may be filled with tears, confusion, and waiting, but the 'later' is filled with joy, restoration, and glory beyond our imagination.
Paul wrote these words from a life marked by hardship, persecution, imprisonment, rejection, and deep personal loss. He understood that faith doesn’t erase suffering, but it transforms how we see it. This verse isn’t telling us to pretend pain doesn’t hurt. It’s telling us to see it in light of eternity.

No matter how tough life gets right now, our current struggles are temporary and small compared to the incredible future God has prepared for us. Paul encourages us to stay hopeful and keep trusting God even when things feel hard because the best is still ahead.  Stay strong and have a Blessed day!

Soul Whisper: What are some ways you can remind yourself to focus on God’s promises when you’re going through a difficult time?

Let's Pray:  Dear Lord, when the weight of today feels too much to bear, help me to remember that Your glory is greater than my pain. Keep my eyes fixed on You and the hope You have promised. In Jesus name, Amen.
