Religion is the rulebook.
Relationship? That’s the rescue. Matthew 15:8 (NLT) - 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.'
I am a Grace-chaser on a mission to live with Purpose - even when life gets messy. Some days, I am quoting scriptures. Other days, I’m barely holding on, but Christ? He is always constant.
Welcome to my world of Inner perception-where faith meets the mess, grace wins☑, and healing begins☑. Let’s Walk this journey together. π
Melt my π Daily dose - Proverbs 16:3 - I had it all mapped out… then life reminded me: God’s plan > mine
Proverbs 16:3 (AMP): ‘Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].’
πEver make plans that felt solid, and you got confident like, 'This is it!' Then next thing you know, things just flopped? Been there! We get so busy with our day to day that it's very easy to become self reliant when it comes to our faith. This verse is that gentle reminder to take a step back and ask: Did I really invite God into this?
Today's verse isn’t about a guarantee thatyourplan will succeed just because you prayed. It’s deeper... it’s aboutalignment. When you submit your dreams, tasks, or next move to God, it’s not just about asking Him to Bless it; it’s trusting that if it needs to change, He’s got a better version. He’ll turn your mess into something meaningful, even if it looks different than you expected. When you commit your works to the Lord, it’s not about control, it’s about release. God doesn’t just want to bless your plans, He wants to walk with you in them. Let's remember to always seek God in our plans...
πBreathing excercise:I recommend you try this before you pray, helps me to relax.Repeat for 1–2 minutes, or longer if needed:
*Sit or lie down comfortably *Inhale slowly (while inhaling in your heart say): 'Lord, I receive Your peace' *Exhale gently (exhale): 'I release my heaviness'
πLet’s Pray:Dear God, I surrender my plans, my work, my goals, everything to you. Let your will be done in my life. Help me trust Your timing and follow Your guidance. Make my heart soft enough to change direction if You lead me somewhere new. I love and trust your will for me Lord. Thanks for your Grace. In Jesus name we Pray, Amen.
πFaith based Activity: Start today: 'Plan Surrender'
You’ve got a big decision; job offer, business, or even a relationship step. You feel pressure to get it right.
Grab a sticky note. Write: 'God, I commit/surrender this to You. Please Guide me.' -(write out situation, strong believer in 'specific prayer').
Place it somewhere you’ll see all day (mirror, laptop, phone case, screen shot).
Each time you see it, pause for 5 seconds and pray: 'Lord, lead me not just what I want, but what You want.'
π‘It’s a small act, but it shifts your mindset from anxious control to peaceful trust.
