MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Matthew 7:1-2 - Judging Others - The homeless read mean tweets

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Matthew 7:1-2 (ESV)
'Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.

To judge is to make a personal opinion about someone, to create a perception & come to a conclusion in your mind without even knowing that person.  You don't know their story, the battles they may be fighting, challenges, you just look at them or see the situation that they are in and  create a negative conclusion about them.  It sickens me when I think about humanity in our society today.  We have become such a selfish, self-centered society with no conscience whatsoever or even the fear of God.  If someone is getting hurt or needs help people look the other way, no one wants to get 'involved'. We don't even try to help but create an opinion about the situation.
Even as Christians, some of us think that we are better than others because we are 'saved'.  If somebody walks into church with perhaps an inappropriate outfit, you come to a conclusion that they are living in the 'world'.  Have you asked or even considered perhaps that may be all they have to wear?  Perhaps this person knows no better, why not try to help them rather than staying in your 'saved' circle and pointing the finger.  If somebody reeks of alcohol, pray for them, think of how you can help them, how you can change their life, don't preach a sermon directed at the person and make them feel uncomfortable (this is for the Pastors), or simply avoid them because you have decided that they are an alcoholic.  Alcoholism is a sickness and this person may need your prayers or help.  If Jesus ONLY ministered to born-again Christians his work would have been too easy.  He went out and reached people who needed help.  He sought the sick, desolate, prostitutes, drug addicts, the demon possessed, the poor, he reached out by helping them to understand the word of God.  To show them the way.  In John 8:7 (NIV), he witnessed a lady who was about to be stoned to death because she had committed adultery, one of the greatest sins and Jesus said to the persecutors ' “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”  The lady was saved because we are all sinners, no body's perfect!
Let's all do a self check and ask God for forgiveness for we  are all guilty of this. Remember, do not Judge what you don't understand everybody has a story & a battle they are facing.  Let's enhance each other as Christians and Human Beings by Empowering each other and reaching out, helping, praying for each other
Please take the time to watch this video, it's really pathetic that people can be so mean.  Being homeless does not make anyone less of a human being, no condition in life is permanent, remember that...  Offer your help, support & prayers if you don't understand their struggle.
