Melt my 💕 Daily Dose -Nehemiah 8:10 — Feeling like you’ve messed up too much? There’s still a seat at the table...

Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV): Nehemiah said, 'Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.‘

📍The Israelites had just returned from exile (a long, painful time of being away). They were rebuilding their lives, city, and faith. They asembled on the first day of the seventh month (a Holy Day-special holiday for reflection, rest, and renewal., NOT the Sabbath day), and Ezra the Priest read the Book of the Law (aka God’s Word) to the people for the first time in forever.

Melt my 💕 Daily Dose - Psalm 121:1-2 - No need to fear, God’s awake and always near

Psalm 121:1-2 (ESV): ‘1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2.My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.’

📍When life feels heavy and overwhelming, it’s easy to look down in discouragement. Today’s verse reminds us to lift our eyes up ⬆️, not to focus on our worry, but to the our most high God.

Read Matthew 28:  This chapter is all about hope, power, and purpose. Jesus rises from the dead (yep, he actually beats death), proving he’s everything he said he was. The women at the tomb are the first to hear the good news. Then Jesus shows up to His followers, Alive and Real. At the end, He gives them, and us a mission: 'Go and make disciples… I am with you always.'   In simple words:  Jesus is alive. You’re not alone. And your life has purpose no matter how lost or tired you feel.
