MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalms 108:12-13 – Intercede for Christians being Persecuted

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalms 108:12-13 (NIV)

12 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.
13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

The headlines lately have been flooded with news of Christians being brutally persecuted around the world. It’s very easy to see this on the news and sigh or say how ridiculous it is, or how sorry you are for our fellow brothers and sisters, but we have got to take the time to Pray and Intercede for them.
From Nigeria, China, Iraq most recently innocent Christian lives lost in a suicide bombing attack in Pakistan during the Easter festivities. Everyday’s a tragedy; I cannot imagine living in such an environment.  Researching this led me to the most daunting images I have ever seen.  God have mercy...  This is Real we have got to help.
I commend these Christians for their adamant faith, despite the opposition they still find a way to fellowship, to hold on to the word of God. Imagine attending a church service or a Bible study gathering knowing there is a possibility that it may be your last day on earth, how many of us will honestly attend? Or imagine a gun to your head with the option of denouncing your faith and you will live and be with your family, yet most refuse to denounce their belief in the word of God and loose their lives, putting God first; Oh what adamant faith! In hindsight this has made me self reflect on my faith in Christ.
I urge you to please take time quietly to intercede for our Christian brothers and Sisters in these societies. Please take this personal, pray that God will protect their lives, pray for peace, pray for God to make a way for them to re-locate, that God continues to give them the strength to be strong and hold on to their faith. Additionally, pray for the other religions and nations committing these atrocities. Pray that God enlightens them. Remember Saul used to persecute Christians and he ended up being one of the most respected men of God in the Bible, Paul.
You can also make a donation to several charities to help, see list below. A little helps but your Prayer is the most important♥
