**making an effort to read the Bible, studying his word, abiding by it with no excuses to fit your comfort or today's society, yearning for growth, making prayer a priority. Think about it, building a relationship is getting to know someone. If you don't KNOW them how can you grow to love them?
and find me...when you seek me with all your heart.
**this is a Promise from God with a condition and a guarantee if done right...seeking him wholeheartedly. Loving him for who he is not for what you can get from him. Not 'tolerating' him but longing to getting to know him. Seeking him because you want to, not because you want to fit in, get a profitable reputation, or because somebody's forcing you. It is a relationship. There will be good and bad times. When you love, you learn from the bad times by identifying the problem amending it, and doing anything possible to maintain the peace. You seek bliss not fighting. You strive to maintain positivity by not repeating the mistakes to whatever is causing the rift between you. You strive to please man who may fail you but remember Jesus never fails... If he says it, IT IS DONE...
14 **I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.
**It's a guarantee! Not only will you get his attention, whatever adversity you are facing, God is telling you that IF you meet the condition of seeking him wholeheartedly, BAM! You will be restored 100% or even more.
**I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord,
**the Price of Sin! When you seek God with your heart, you will learn and understand the principles of repentance then forgiveness. God forgives our sins if we repent with no excuses and seek to do the right thing. What is that Sin you are struggling with that has you depressed, confused, living in fear, unforgiveness, that's making you feel hopeless? Read his word! Don't depend on others or your Preacher to study his word, remember they are mere humans who interpret God's word differently. Refrain from being a sunday to sunday Christian.
When you seek him yourself, you understand his word more and would be able to discern whose interpretation fits your understanding. I have heard some Pastors only concentrate on asking God for forgiveness and not even bring up repentance. What is repentance? Sincere regret or remorse.... If someone stomps on your toes in the Summer heat what's your first honest reaction? I mean a solid stomp:-) You really would wanna slap them or refrain yourself from becoming angry if they say 'sorry' laughing or even with a smirk! I mean not even a sincere apology just a 'get over it' kinda thing. Would you appreciate that? Think about the principle.
“and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
**Seek wholeheartedly → Love →Repentance → Forgiveness → Obedience → Faith → Restoration
These are the basic principles of God. You may have been carried into exhile due to Sin or disobedience. Exile - to be banished, sent away, deprived from whatever feels good , taken out of your comfort zone, living in misery etc. If God has promised 100% restoration if you abide by his principles what's holding you back? This is very serious, think about it. God's daily word should NOT be a chore, you are to read this and get something from it. Not just read and say, oh, that's my bible verse for the day!' Take God seriously, it's NEVER too late♥
