MELT My ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 32:3-5 (NIV)
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
Are you dwelling on the mistakes you made in the past or is there any current sin you are battling with? Do you feel tainted feeling like there is no way out or believing you will always have this negative reputation? Remember when you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior you became a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says (NLT), This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
As long as you confess your sins to God, you are honest about it. It is truly a mistake and not a deliberate sin, God will forgive you. He can still use you. Do not be silent or dishonest about it because it opens room for guilt, anger, depression, unbelief. Stop feeling guilty or dirty, do not give the devil any leeway in your life. The devil knows your name and calls you by your sin, but the Lord knows your sin and calls you by your name. Remember that, there is a difference! Be as honest as possible as you can with God, do not compare yourself to others NOBODY's perfect. We all have demons we are fighting some people are just skilled in concealing theres. Your focus should be on yourself, strive to be the best you can be in Christ. It is NEVER too late for you. Remember, be honest with God, do not be dishonest or make excuses, admit your sin. Do the best that you can to change, accept and believe that you ARE a new person, a new creation and walk towards that path, the positive, anointing path and by faith you will overcome your insecurities ♥
