MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Mark 9:29 - Fasting BREAKS the chains that bind you

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Mark 9:29 (KJV)
'And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.'

Fasting done according to the word of God, obediently with fervent Praying puts you in the best possible position for a Breakthrough.  That breakthrough might be in the realm of the spirit. It may be in the realm of your emotions or personal habits. It may be in the realm of a very practical area of life, such as relationships or finances. What I have seen repeatedly through the years not only in the Scriptures but in countless personal stories that others have told me -- is that periods of fasting and prayer produce great spiritual results, many of which fall into the realm of a breakthrough. What wasn't a reality . . . suddenly was. What hadn't worked . . . suddenly did. The unwanted situation or object that was there . . . suddenly wasn't there. The relationship that was unloving . . . suddenly was loving. The job that hadn't materialized . . . suddenly did.  There are numerous examples in the Bible with the Israelites & men of God, even Jesus fasted in areas of adversity, forgiveness and the outcome was a testimony.
If fasting and praying are means to a breakthrough that God has for me, I want to undertake those disciplines so I might experience that breakthrough! Fasting for a breakthrough comes with discipline.  Stick to your plan no matter what, if you have designated a time to fast do so obediently with no excuses.  Refrain from negativity, anger, cursing, prepare yourself mentally to commune with God that come rain or shine, no matter the trials, you will accomplish this fast backed up with fervent prayers.  How long you fast is up to you.  You can fast for 60 days however if it's not done with purpose and according to the word of God you are wasting your time.  Read Matthew 6.
We are all tired of living in bondage and deserve to be FREE and if God is saying use this tool to release yourself from bondage, nothing should be holding us back.  Get on it diligently and please do share your testimony:-)  TGIF, have a fun, blessed weekend ♥
