Tomorrow is Mother's day and with a pure heart please remember to give God thanks for blessing your mother with the fruit of the womb to give you life. An opportunity to come into this world and be the person that you are today.
Always pray for her, nurture her the best that you can and remember nobody's perfect. There is nothing like 'the perfect Mom,' trust me. As humans we all wish for more, compare, contrast and drive ourselves nuts but how about just accepting & appreciating who God chose to be your Mother? Do you despise your Mom? Please put all grievances aside and appreciate who she is. We cannot change the past or wish for a better Mom, God has a plan & purpose for each and everyone of us, accept his plan, Forgive, let Go and give thanks. Nobody's perfect, we all have our flaws.
Reject the bondage or burden of rejection, hate, deceit, and accept God's Love and peace in your life. God never leave's us hanging! Yes, somebody who didn't give birth to you can even be more of a mother figure to you, give thanks to God for both your birth mother and the Blessed woman that God has placed in your life. Lets look at Jesus reply to the crowd when asked about his family in Matthew 12:46-48 (NLT), 47 Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak to you.”48 Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” 49 Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. 50 Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”

The key to a joyful spirit, a happy life is a Grateful heart. Let's thank God for our mothers, pray for them, appreciate them. Life is so short do not live in regret when it's too late. Some of our Mothers are our BFF's and we cannot imagine life without them... Be super grateful and give thanks to God that you have this opportunity. Some people don't! Remember appreciating our Mothers should not only be on Mother's day, as children of God we should always honor our parents. Make time to call, visit, nurture, pray together, if they are deceased cherish their memory and still keep them in your prayers.
