MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - 2 Chronicles 20:21 - Don't Shut Your mouth... Be loud, Praise God! There is Power in Praise

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - 2 Chronicles 20:21(NLT)
After consulting the people, the king appointed singers to walk ahead of the army, singing to the Lord and praising him for his holy splendor. This is what they sang:
“Give thanks to the Lord;
    his faithful love endures forever!”

Todays daily dose is one of my favorite picker-uppers and medication for holding on to my faith, a strong conviction that our God is always on our side if we seek him diligently.   How often do we go through life just asking God for this and that and not taking the time to just worship him?  When we are faced with adversity do we hold on to God's promises or panic and give up not realizing that our breakthrough may be near.  I recommend you reading 2 chronicles 20 what awesome faith of King Jehoshaphat.  Upon hearing about a possible attack upon them from 3 neighboring nations with very strong armies, he immediately declared  fasting and praying upon the Israelites.  They all seeked the face of God for help.  King Jehoshaphat challenged God, he reminded him of his promise to Abraham, Issac & Jacob, about bringing them to the promised land.  He asked God about his promise that if they seeked him diligently through adversity he would deliver them.  In 2 chronicles 15-17 (NLT) the lord replied saying, 'Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow, march out against them.  17 But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the Lord’s victory. He is with you, O people of Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out against them tomorrow, for the Lord is with you!”
Did they question God saying how can we sing praises when this fearful army wants us dead does that make any sense?  Why not make us stronger than our enemies so we can defeat them?  Or as a matter of fact why so much adversity since we left Egypt my goodness when does it STOP?  They did not question God but they OBEYED his word.  They did just as told no questions asked marching, praising and singing today's daily dose 'Give thanks to the Lord; his faithful love endures forever!'  Look what happened when they started singing praises, the Lord caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting amongst themselves.  What an awesome God we serve!  I mean it was a combination of 3 nations against one, they had every right to panic and question God but they ran to our creator God, reminded him of his promises and Obeyed his instructions.#Selfcheck
Reflect on todays daily dose and hold on to the promises of God for the battle is not yours it's the Lords.  Allow God to fight your battles, there is so much you can do in some situations.  What adversity, storm or trials are you facing in life?  Do not panic, praise your way through.  Do your homework, obey and be convicted that victory is yours in Jesus name.  Happy Praise Monday!  Have a Blessed week, do not back down, God's got your back ♥
