MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalms 60:10-12 - Why God Why?

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalms 60:10-12 (NLT)
10 Have you rejected us, O God?
Will you no longer march with our armies?
11 Oh, please help us against our enemies,
for all human help is useless.
12 With God’s help we will do mighty things,
for he will trample down our foes.

Are you confused about anything? Is there something happening (or not happening) in your life today that you don’t understand? Do you find yourself asking, “Why, God, why?”
Have you tried everything in your power to be obedient, faithful, you have fasted, prayed, I mean you have done it all yet nothing.  Your situation may not even be seeking God's help it may be just wanting to hear from him, seeking a solution.  Your fellow Bros & Sis's in Christ keep telling you that waiting for the answer will only steal your peace and rob your joy yet they don't understand that you are living this warfare, this battle, this confusion, it's been years of waiting yet nothing, what do you do?  People are quick to bring up Sarah & Hannah's story in the Bible when it comes to waiting but my advise to fellow Christians is until you have been their don't be so quick to judge a person who is tired of waiting.  It is NOT a fun place to be in.  Until you understand someone's battle don't be so quick to offer a solution.  You may be trying to help but unfortunately all you are doing is having them question their faith which = additional depression. All you can do is pray with them.
They may be right about you being cheerful through this but you have tried this yet you are at your wits end. What do you do?  Do you give up?  You are not alone, I am with you and so was David the author of this Psalm and many other Christians.  Jeremiah 30:17 (NLT) says, 'For I will restore you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’  God has promised to restore you, to heal your wounds.  I know you may be tired, feeling desolate but worrying is not going to change anything.  All you can do is hold on to this scripture or find a scripture that fits your situation just google if you have to.  It helps a lot.  Don't put your trust in man, parents, friends, siblings, significant other, fellow Christians etc.  It will only lead to additional drama in your life.  I have been failed so much by man that I have come to a place that I unfortunately do not trust anyone.  Now this is based on my path in life you may have a different path however learn to put your hope and trust in God rather than man.  Ask God to place the right people in your life.
My being a Christian today is a testimony so many Church folks have failed me to a point of me being suicidal because I needed help, I wasn't getting it from my shrink, she didn't understand the warfare I was battling, I had my Pastor telling me that my situation was hopeless I mean is that what you tell a broken person?  Thank God for wisdom and strength.  I remember walking out thinking in my Bible that I read, I am yet to see a situation where God was hopeless especially to his obedient servants.  I was hurt, broken, stuck, feeling rejected by the same people I trusted, wondered why God would allow this to happen to me in Church of all places?  Thank God for perseverance I am now in a better place of worship however my focus has changed from the congregation or ministerial committee to going for spiritual growth (remember for every set back God may be trying to re-focus your thoughts, be open to the lesson). I thank God for strength, the struggle continues but I know God is in control.  It's ok to cry it just shows that you have been strong for too long.  Just lean on God and be honest with your prayers to him.  Continue living in obedience and let his will be done in your life.  Be strong, fight this battle until you are declared a Winner.  God has got your back, hope, trust & be assured♥
