MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose Psalm 28:7-8 (NIV)
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. 8 The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
God says 'Trust me and I'll show you,' this quote cannot be any clearer. As God's children we have got to trust in his word, his timing, have faith that all will be well according to the will of God. And we also have to admit to God when the tides are overwhelming and you feel like it's too much for you to handle. We can only take but so much thats when we ask God for the strength and the wisdom to endure. To push forward, to put the devil to shame and be victorious. Remember in Matthew 9:27-30 where the two blind men came to Jesus and asked Him to heal them. Jesus first asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” and their reply was, “Yes, Lord.” “Then He touched their eyes saying, ‘According to your faith let it be to you.’ And their eyes were opened.”
Their faith and assurance that Jesus could give them sight was the substance or reality they hoped for. It also gave them the evidence or trust that they would receive what they asked for. They believed; that is, they had faith in advance that it would be done. Some of our situations cannot compare to these two blind men yet they believed, they wanted their sight, they persevered to seek Jesus because they knew the outcome. They didn't make excuses they did what they had to do to be healed. I have always said you CANNOT be a lazy christian. You have got to be assertive!
Our Lord knows our pains & struggles please hold on to his garment, trust and have faith in his word. Ask God to give you the strength to endure and you WILL be victorious. Don't back down, you are closer than you think:-) Happy Monday♥
