MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Proverbs 27:17 - Friends who uplift your Soul, Yes! If not, they have to go!

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Proverbs 27:17  (NLT)
"As iron sharpens iron,
so a friend sharpens a friend."

Sorry I did not post yesterday the devil is a liar.  I was spiritually attacked and I am just getting out of bed, barely...  Please keep me in your prayers.  I have noticed the deeper or closer I get into my relationship with God I get hit really hard by the devil but my God is bigger than anything.  Though I fall I will rise again.
I choose this scripture today because I must admit I almost hit rock bottom these past days.  The devil was really at work to get me and all my issues just seemed to hit me all at once that I could not even pray I just kept listening to Gospel worship songs.   I needed to talk to someone and I called a sister in Christ who has become my friend and thank goodness I did that.  She reminded me of the greatness of God, the trials we face, the seasons in life I mean she didn't sugar coat things to make me feel "good" she hit the Bible and gave me the real stuff and I felt so much better and Blessed.  Brethren don't feel bad or beat yourself up if you fall into these moments of doubt it happened to David, the disciples, we just need to surround ourselves and spend more time with people who share the same passion as us; the Bible, God's word.  As today's daily dose says "Iron sharpens Iron".  I didn't need a pity party or someone who was going to belittle me she knows how far I have come with my walk in Christ and she uplifted my spirits.  Is she also going through  storms, of course, probably more gruesome than mine but God gave her the strength to forget about her issues and pray for me.  That's a Christian Friend...
My Praying Sweethearts I encourage you to please surround yourself with Christian friends who share the same faith & belief as you.  Life can get lonely I know especially when you get rid of all the bad apples but with time God will position people in your life to uplift you, that you can grow in the word with.  Someone who is not going to always preach about 'prosperity' to you, the 'feel good' sermons because this may be your time of trials like Job.
Our Pastors are not always available, Ministers in church are too busy to counsel and you cannot always depend on them.  This is actually a big concern in the church today because a lot of Church's lack good follow up skills or even counseling it's either you get it on Sunday or everyone's too busy during the week.  What about new Believers?  Nobody's asking for a babysitter but we have got to improve this in our institutions. I understand running a church is a lot but then have a team of faith abiding Ministers that will be available for counseling others.  You don't need to be a mega church to have these capabilities, I am sure people can volunteer and be trained to do this.  I have been there, I know what it feels like so I cannot imagine a new believer who needs some guidance but can or may only get it once a week.  We have to do better in our Church's, may God enlighten us.
I have always stressed that we learn to Do-IT-Ourselves and surround yourselves with faith building friends.  If you don't have that friend I am available my details are on the blog, you can inbox me via Facebook, twitter or email I am always here for support.
God Bless you today and may God surround you with faith building friends.  I pray that any window the devil may be using to attack us would be closed and that we shall be the disciples of Christ as we are destined to be.  God Bless you today and keep me in your prayers.  Luv Ya
