Daily Dose ♥  Romans 6:23(ESV)

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In today's society as Children of God,  some of us have made so many amends to the word of God to fit our comforts & needs that it's disheartening.  As born again Christians we have accepted Christ as our Lord & Savior wholeheartedly.  Accepting him is also obeying & abiding by his word that's the whole point of building a relationship with him getting to know him.  Loving him, trusting, believing in his word.  Trust me I know its hard and I am not trying to be all 'self righteous' I have my pitfalls but as I stated in an earlier post my journey starting last year has been to get out of 'Religion'.  I am not going to get into the disobedience of 'Adam & Eve' and all that we all know the story but lets really search ourselves.  God has clearly stated that the wages of sin is death!

E.g Adultery & fornication, a huge problem for Christians today in this sex driven society.  The bible clearly states in Galatians 5:19  " Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,...  Yet we still make excuses that we are lonely, I don't connect with my hubby/wife anymore, divorced, 'my hormones are raging', 'it's a natural feeling from God':-), maybe instead of fornicating I can just mastubate at least I am not engaging in any sin physically  with anyone... It is still WRONG.  Sorry I have to get real and I have been there.

Whatever happened to you being a Fighter, making that decision to live for God.  Striving to do right.  If you are asked not to listen to your iPod at work or even search the internet, You obey, why because you want that paycheck.  Most of us won't challenge our companies authority by complaining that we get bored at our desk, yet you obey because your reward is that paycheck.   Have you fervently seeked the face of God to mend your marriage, asked him to lead you to your God ordained partner, or help you to deal with these feelings?  Now I am in no way against TV or movie entertainment but we know our limits and you choose what you watch or listen too.  You meet a new guy, tell him where you stand as a Christian if he is meant for you trust me it would be easy.  I confess I used to tease my friends that choose to abstain until marriage and do it "God's way" until I saw the Blessings God poured upon them.  Because they choose to seek God's face and obey I tell you no lie there marriages are the best I have seen today not saying they may not have any tiffs but I am just amazed at the awesomeness and also how fast God answered their prayers.  Fyi, this also involves a young guy so yes this is applied to men also.

It's tax season as children of God we fabricate things with the IRS to get more $$$ because some of our excuses is the money the Government owes me.  Nope!  It's lying & stealing.  Read your Bible!  Some of us know & believe in the awesomeness of it but  never open it.  We even sleep with the bible under our pillows or  have it in our cars yet we don't make an effort to abide by the rules.  I won't even get into what I see in certain church's the way some Pastors have 'adjusted' the word of God just to keep a large congregation or not to offend people.  Let's get back to reality people this is indeed the end of times.  Let's get out of religion and make an effort to be faithful children of God.  Our God is a forgiving God, nobody's perfect.  It's not going to be easy but if you make an effort, trust me you would see changes.  You can start by:

• changing your circle of friends if you have to
• I have always said church is like a hospital.  If you grew up in a church and you are not moving forward seek God's face to lead you to where you can worship and get something out of it.  Stop wasting your time on Sundays so you don't offend others.  Are you obeying God or man?
• If you are in a relationship that you know in your heart it's wrong seek the face of God, search the scriptures, listen to his voice & OBEY

Accepting Christ as your Lord & Savior is very deep it's not just words.  A devil worshipper would never utter those words.  If you are familiar with deliverance You'd understand...  These are strong powerful words... he died for our sins.  Please take it seriously and start today.  A day at a time is all it takes.  Pray and ask for God's direction tell God you strive to change to please him and see what he would do.  May God Bless you today and I rebuke the spirit of  hardheartedness and disobedience.  I cover you all by the blood of Jesus and your walk with Christ will not be in Vain.
