Zechariah 4:10 (NLT): 'Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin...'

Soul Dive: This verse was written by the Prophet Zechariah, who was called by God to encourage the Israelites after they returned from exile in Babylon. P.S. The Babylonians, under King Nebuchadnezzar, destroyed Solomon’s Temple and exiled the Israelites to Babylon. After the exile, when the Israelites returned from Babylonian captivity, they began rebuilding, this is the Temple referred to in Zechariah.
At the time, the people were rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem and compared to the grand Temple of Solomon, their work looked small, unimpressive, and discouraging. Many wondered if their efforts even mattered. But through the Prophet Zechariah, God reminded them that He values even the small beginnings, Amen! What seems insignificant to us carries weight in His plan. Every faithful step forward, every prayer, act of obedience, or moment of faith is precious to Him. God rejoices not only in the finished product but in the progress itself.
Often, we wait for big breakthroughs before we allow ourselves to feel joy. But God celebrates every small step forward, every prayer whispered, every act of kindness, every moment of faith in the middle of doubt. The 'little wins' are proof that He is working in us and through us. What seems small to us is significant to God, because each step builds a stronger foundation for the bigger blessings ahead. Remember, no victory is too small when God is behind it. Celebrate each step, and watch how He turns the little wins into life-changing blessings💟.
