Soul Dive: The book of Deuteronomy was written by Moses as he gave final words of encouragement and instruction to the Israelites, before they entered the Promised Land. This specific verse was Moses reminding Joshua and the people, that God Himself would guide them and never abandon them, even as leadership transitioned. Leadership was transitioning because Moses was passing the
role of leading Israel to Joshua as they prepared to enter the Promised Land.
This moment emphasized that even with a new leader, God’s guidance and
presence would remain constant.
Vibe Check: Life can feel uncertain when you’re stepping into something new or leaving behind the familiar. Fear whispers, 'What if I fail? What if I’m not strong enough?' But God’s Word cuts through the noise with a beautiful promise: 'The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.' Amen... This isn’t just encouragement, it’s assurance. God doesn’t send you into tomorrow empty-handed. He steps ahead of you to prepare the way, He walks beside you to strengthen you, and He stays behind you to cover what you leave undone. That’s how faithful He is. So today, choose joy. You are not abandoned. You are not forgotten. The One who holds the universe also holds your hand. Amen...💕
