Religion is the rulebook.
Relationship? That’s the rescue. Matthew 15:8 (NLT) - 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.'
I am a Grace-chaser on a mission to live with Purpose - even when life gets messy. Some days, I am quoting scriptures. Other days, I’m barely holding on, but Christ? He is always constant.
Welcome to my world of Inner perception-where faith meets the mess, grace wins☑, and healing begins☑. Let’s Walk this journey together. π
Melt my π Daily Dose - Psalm 56:2-3 - Life tried to shake me. Faith made me unshakable..
Psalm 56:2-3(NLT): 'I am constantly hounded by those who slander me, and many are boldly attacking me. 3. But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you...'
πDavid expresses a raw and relatable emotion in this Psalm; Fear. He was surrounded by enemies who relentlessly attacked and slandered him. He acknowledged the overwhelming pressure he faced yet he shifts his focus from fear to faith, declaring in verse 3, 'But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.'
When people attack or speak badly about us, it’s easy to feel afraid and alone. This verse reminds us that even in those tough moments, we can choose to trust God. Fear is natural but trusting God gives us peace and courage to keep going.
David’s response teaches us that fear is not the end of the story; it’s an opportunity to lean into God’s strength and faithfulness. When life feels like a battle and voices rise against us, we can follow David’s example and anchor our hearts in trust, knowing that God is greater than whatever comes against us.
Let's Pray: Dear Lord, when fear rises and I feel overwhelmed by the voices and pressures around me, please help me to trust You. Remind me that You are bigger than my battles. I choose to lean on You today. In Jesus precious name, Amenπ.
