Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Hebrews 13:6 - Unshakable Security

Hebrews 13:6 (NIV): So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’

πŸ“This verse is a reminder that our confidence doesn’t come from our own strength, but from knowing God is with us.  Life often brings situations that make us anxious or fearful but God is always by our side as our helper. Our ever present help in times of trouble.
When we truly believe He’s our helper, fear loses its grip. No person or problem can overpower the presence of God in our lives. It invites us to shift our focus from fear to faith, trusting in God’s constant presence. With Him, we can face each day with courage and peace.

πŸ“Breathing excercise: I recommend you try this before you pray.  Helps me to relax:  Repeat for 1–2 minutes, or longer if needed
  1. Sit or lie down comfortably
  2. Inhale slowly (while inhaling in your heart say): 'Lord, I receive Your peace'
  3. Exhale gently (while exhaling in your heart say): 'I release my heaviness'

πŸ“Lets Pray:  Dear Lord, You are my helper and my strength. Today, I give You my fears and worries. Help me to trust that no situation or person is bigger than Your care for me. Fill my heart with Your peace and courage. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

πŸ“Faith building Activity:   What fear or worry am I holding onto that I need to surrender to God today?

πŸ“Simple daily affirmation based on Hebrews 13:6
  • God is my helper. I will not be afraid. With Him, I am safe and strong
  • I don’t have to control everything. God’s got this.
  • I walk with courage, even when the path is unclear.
  • My confidence comes from God, not from perfection.
  • Today, I release fear and hold on to truth.
  • The Lord is my helper—I will not be afraid.
