MELT MY ♥ Weekend Dose - Psalm 62:1-2 - In Christ Alone...

MELT MY ♥ Weekend Dose - Psalm 62:1-2 (NIV)
1 Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation (deliverance from sin and its consequences) comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Only in Christ can you find love, strength, hope, happiness, fulfillment, inner peace, motivation, I can go on and on.  Make him your foundation, cornerstone, confidant.  I have learned that in life never put your trust in man.  Human Beings will fail you and let you down but our Lord and savior NEVER fails, trust me I have been through a lot in life and I can confidently say this.  I am pretty much alone in this world and God has really shown himself to me.

If you are wondering, how can I confide in God when I feel like he doesn't hear me or I get no signs that he hears me.  Been there!  Practice praying fervently, don't rush, make this your quiet time, first repent (confess) and ask God for forgiveness, of any known or unknown sins in your life, be specific if you can.   Then find scriptures that relate to your situation (google), meditate on them, talk to God about your situation, and Listen.  After praying don't rush to get up, take the time to spend at least 5 mins after praying with an open mind.  Trust me, with time you would be able to discern God's word.  If it doesn't come to you directly, it will come through someone and believe me, when its from God no matter the source its from, it just feels right.  You feel it in your soul that its right.  Even if its not what you were hoping for you still feel a peace within your spirit.  Anything from a contrary spirit will live you still confused, arguing with God or with strife and unbelief.

This weekend, make a decision to commit your ways to the Lord.  Only through him would you find that inner peace, or whatever you seek.  Remember when you became a born-again christian, old things have passed away, and you became a new creation in Christ. Make a commitment to building a relationship  (a connection) with God.  Enjoy the bliss in this relationship by making an effort, he is waiting... Have a Blessed weekend
