'Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.'
TGIF! Hope you had a Blessed week. As I was praying & meditating last night I started thinking about my life and my goodness I have so much to be grateful for. Sometimes we get so consumed with our situations that we forget how God is working in our lives. Just thinking back I realized that it is true God truly has a plan for each of our lives if we accept his will for us and abide by his words. For every tough road I have endured something great has been achieved through it. I challenge you to really take the time and think about your life? How far you have come in life? I always stress this, do NOT rush to pray & meditate you can miss so much God may be trying to say to you. I know sometimes a quick prayer here & there if you are running out which is fine but find that perfect time everyday to worship God. I've always said night works for me. I did a series on Prayer (search posts 1/19-1/24). Everyone has a different technique you just have to find what works for you and remember that PRAYER is the only time we communicate with God our creator, make that the 'Zen' moment of your day.
Through Prayer you can evaluate if you are really showing gratitude to God in ref to today's daily dose 'In everything we should always give thanks & praise to God.' Think about your situation if you had that perfect life you so seek would you have time for God? Through trials, stress, hardships, do you take the time to think about why this is happening and how can this be fixed according to the word of God, what's the lesson here, where did I go wrong, thanking God through the process? It took me to go through a dry season for me to get this close to God and to be honest when I think about my relationship now with Christ it's the best thing ever! Forget the stress, financial hardships, trials that the devil tries to bring because it is true now I believe the saying that the closer you get to God be prepared for resistance from the devil. But this is all part of our walk in Christ and by faith the devil is a liar! If this is your joyful season where all seems to be going well are you being thankful to God or even fellowshipping like you used to during your dry season?
Let's check ourselves this weekend and remember thanking God is not only when something perfect happens. It should be in ALL situations, it's part of the process... May God's anointing be upon you and please, please make Prayer a priority, make it special and effective. A close relationship with God is so worth it. Have a Blessed weekend ♥
