MELT MY ♥ Weekend Dose - Matthew 9:20-22 #Faith

Daily Dose ♥  Matthew 9:22 (NIV)
20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

If you are ever having one of those days when you are struggling holding on to your Faith  please take the time to read Matthew 9.  It shows how merciful our God is.  How much he cares about us only if we have faith in him, if only we believe & persevere.  Now remember Faith without works is useless.

As today's daily dose ♥ implies, this lady with a bleeding problem for 12 years as a woman I cannot even imagine her pains, she MADE her way through the crowd of probably thousands just to touch the garment of Jesus because she believed that no matter how much she gets trampled on, knocked over, cursed out, she was DETERMINED to be healed.  "If only I can just touch his garment not even have him lay hands on me' just touch his garment.  What awesome faith!  She fought through  tooth & nail and made it and behold she was healed.  Jesus was so impressed by her that indeed he said to her "your faith has healed you".
How many of us are willing to go that far?  Some of us are so into what I call the 'robot' christian mentality that if a Pastor does not lay hands on you, or if you do not buy 'holy water' you don't believe you are healed.  God has given us the authority, all the tools, it is in the Bible "if you believe and have faith you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer (Matthew 21:22)."

I know we may have read this scripture so many times but really take the time this weekend to analyze it, compare it to today's society, your life, how can you as an individual persevere to have such crazy Faith in God.  Are you doing anything in regards  to your relationship with God?  Are you going through a test right now, a dry or silent season?  Or perhaps this may be a joyful season for you are you as faithful to God as you where when all seemed silent?  Are you spending your money on 'holy water' or any 'holy' merchandise because you don't believe you can heal yourself but another person can?  Now don't get me wrong there are instances were one may need "deliverance' that's another post.  Even with deliverance no matter how many demons are 'cast' out of you if you do not believe they have been cast out you are wasting your time.
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see (Hebrews11:1 NLT).  Whatever your situation have Faith that God will see you through.  You shall testify, remember you have got to have confidence and believe in yourself.  You can seek the guidance of an anointed Pastor in ref to prayer points, Bible verses etc but trust me it is written in the Bible, You can do it!  You are a Winner and you shall be victorious.  Fyi, read old posts on 'Empowering yourself' & 'Prayer' if you need guidance on this blog.

God Bless you this weekend and may his word be a seed in your hearts.  I love you, appreciate you and I cannot wait to hear your testimony's, experiences or battles, do share:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 27:14 #Waiting

Daily Dose ♥  Psalm 27:14 (NIV)
via worshipgifs

Waiting is the hardest thing in life... especially when you are doing everything you are supposed to do as a child of God yet all seems SILENT!  What else is there to do?  Who can I turn to?  What am I doing wrong?  I have searched myself Lord yet my problems and struggles are getting worse.  Am I not your child and servant Lord?  People are wondering if I am indeed serving a living God because of how faithful I am to you yet my mountain has not been moved yet unbelievers have testimony's.  What is wrong with me?
Are you at this point in your life?  My sweethearts hold on to the daily dose of today.  I know it's hard...  Don't lose hope continue serving God.  Others have been through worst and God brought them out of the pit of darkness he can also do it for you.
I pray that if the devil is using any legal ground to hold on to your progress, I bind, cancel it and send it to the pits of hell by the blood of Jesus.  We were all created for signs & wonders and the devil will NOT deter God's divine plan for our lives.  I cover all of us with the blood of Jesus and whatever problem you are facing I pronounce VICTORY in Jesus name.  We shall not be frustrated Christians in Jesus name.
There is nothing you can physically do but go to the battle zone with praying and fasting.  Please don't lose hope.  We may not understand but God is working or preparing us for something be patient.  Stay blessed and keep your eye on the prize.
Love Y'all and have a Blessed weekend.

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 30:1-4 #Praise #Faith #YouareaWINNER

Daily Dose ♥  Psalm 30:1-4  (NLT)
I will exalt you, Lord,
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,
    and you healed me.
3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
you spared me from going down to the pit.
4 Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
    praise his holy name.

God has turned around your negative situations, struggles, fears, financial crisis in your life into a positive one so have faith and Praise God. Exalt his name, for he has turned your shame into victory.  What an awesome God we serve.
Even if you are at the depths of stress or sorrow with no way out by your understanding read this psalm and start celebrating.  Be victorious!  The devil wants you to be sad, depressed, question your faith but STAND up and declare that he is a LIAR.  The same God that has provided your needs, blessed you, healed you, kept you alive, brought you out of shame shall do it again.  Do not give the devil victory over your life.  You are God's chosen.
I will exalt you Lord for thou hast lifted me out of shame, sorrow.  He made what looked impossible for Sara and Abraham possible.  By faith they praised & exalted his name and were rewarded.
My praying sweethearts a secret to victory is faith & praise through trials.  Keep your head up, your testimony shall be great.  If you are in a situation where things are too much to handle and you cannot pray just read this psalm as frequently as you can and see what God will do for you.  The battle is not yours it's the Lords.
I pray that each of your lives would be enriched with the word of God and may he grant your request according to his wish in Jesus name.  People shall see God's anointing in you.  Your prayers shall not go in vain this is just a test, it shall surely pass.
Keep your head up, YOU ARE A WINNER:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Isaiah 41:10 #BattlingDepression #DrySeason

Daily Dose ♥  Isaiah 41:10  (NLT)
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand

Depression, anxiety and panic attacks are NOT a sign of weakness.  They are signs of having tried to remain strong for too long.  Did you know that 1 in 3 of us go through this at some point in our lives?  Life can somehow be very challenging for some of us sometimes.  Have you given your ALL to change your situation yet God seems silent?  Your life seems like a roller coaster nothing seems solid, bills are past due, you are failing your courses, job sucks, friends & family have turned against you, basically all the elements in life that should keep you 'happy & fulfilled' are at a zero or mute.  Do you feel very alone & lonely?  You may be asking yourself what is my purpose in life?  Why am I even here?  Why do I even try?
Trust me only you can fix yourself by holding on to God's word.  Changing your mode of thinking to positive outcomes.  It's hard, I know!  I believe you should also seek professional help if you think you need it.  I believe God has given Psychologists or Psychotherapists the wisdom to help.  Ask God to direct you to the right professional. This is the most challenging and difficult thing anyone can possibly go through but you have GOT to be strong.  Search the scriptures.  Please hold on to the daily dose for today.  The lord does not make promises that he cannot fulfill if we walk in his ways.  He has promised that we WILL be victorious this is just a test please hang in there.  It is the most difficult pain and if one has not battled depression you would never understand it.  You are not weak or a failure.  You were created for a purpose and no matter what trials the devil prevails against you, please believe that You are a WINNER.
I pray that God's divine healing and anointing will be on anyone battling depression. Lord, if there is anything hindering their prayers I pray that you have mercy upon them you are a merciful God.  I praise you for sustaining there lives and for providing for their needs.  I pray that by faith this situation will be a testimony and a tool for them to help others.  Thank you for victory Lord.

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Proverbs 11:25 #Suicide #BeAFriend #NotoBullying

Daily Dose ♥ Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)
25 A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

The power of the tongue is one of the most powerful human elements that could progress or destroy lives.  As children of God our goal is to refresh and enrich others lives.  Pray for others, speak words of blessings to others, empower & enrich people's lives, mentor each other. We were not created to 'throw stones' judge or bully others, gossip, backbite, malice, and all that nonsense.    As the bible verse states when we are a blessing to others, our lives will be greatly enriched.  Change your circle of friends if you have to, volunteer, create a faith building Bible study group and walk away from evil or anything that would hinder your Blessings.
Another problem now I think in the christian community is the 'Robot' mentality.  Okay I have done my 'duty' of evangelizing so that's it.  When I see them in church or wherever again I can see how they are progressing if not then, I have my own life.  That 'me' mentality!   Following up with others, reaching out, caring is so critical these days in our society.  Don't just minister to others like a robot but do it wholeheartedly.  If it is not in you, pray to God to give you the wisdom to do so.  When you meet a broken person, pick up the phone and reach out to them, take them out to lunch, study the word with them, encourage them.  The suicide rate is getting higher and I get angry when people say I wish they would have said something.  I have been there!  Every situation is different so I am in no way blaming others if they have had a close one commit suicide but having being suicidal myself it's only by the grace of God that I overcame it.  Friends, family, some members of my church knew about my situation, they would tell me how worried they were about me when or if they saw me.  My church members may or may not even ask how I was doing on Sundays or Bible study days.  That really hurt me.  I am not a weak person but gosh a phone call, a hug, something would have been such a relief for me.  Had it not been for my faith and willingness to live and try God's faithfulness as mentioned in the Bible, trust me, it was the hardest thing I have ever battled with in my life, my story would have long ended.
The feeling of loneliness, abandonment, bullying is the worst  especially when you are supposed to have a 'faith' building community.
Please, Please, Please, I am begging you from the bottom of my heart  reach out to others and FOLLOW UP, regardless of race, social status, there fashion preference and all that nonsense.  Saving a life or empowering a brother or sister is the greatest reward to mankind.  Let's get out of the 'robot' or 'me, mentality and be siblings to each other.
I pray that God will give us all the wisdom to enrich others and that others will in turn be a Blessing to us.  Remember, the people who look the happiest are usually the saddest.
God Bless you:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Ecclesiastes 3:11 #TheMostBeautifulPeople

11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

Happy Monday my luv's!  Thank God for giving us the opportunity to see a new week.  Hope you all had  a fab blessed weekend.
This week I would be freestyling meaning discussing everyday personal issues the devil may try to use against us.  Today's daily dose is based on  'Beauty'... as a Christian.  No, we are not going to get into society's perception of what is beautiful, talk about celebrity's, trust fund kids etc, etc.  Think about yourself!
Is your self esteem based on your past life experiences, relationships, financial status?  Have you been beaten down so much with life that the word 'beauty' does not exist in your vocabulary?  Trust me, I have been there.  The lord is telling us that all these fragmented elements has made us or is creating us to be the beautiful, divine, elegant, God's created children filled with wisdom.    Think about the saying "No pain, No Gain":-)
I can testify that I have been through the valley of the shadow of  death:-)  but God brought me out of it.  My self confidence now is nothing compared to what it was like.  I have gained so much wisdom.  Whatever you are going through is just a path, you will overcome this and BELIEVE you are the beautiful person God has created.
The most beautiful people:
  • love God, they are Jesus freaks & LIVE according to his word
  • Are Survivors - have a past, they have been through the "valley of the shadow of death" Psalm 23.  If you have not been through a rough past does not make you an ugly person.  We all have different paths in life.  If you love God and practice his works you are Beautiful:-)
  • Empower themselves with scriptures
  • Mentor others
  • Take care of themselves, strive to be healthy.  Our body is the temple of God
Believe; Faith; forgive; Prayer; Works; Empowerment; =the illest swag you can think of.
Inner Beauty is all we need:-)

My Prayer for you...

Put this on your "To Do" list

It's never too late

MELT MY ♥ Weekend Dose - Matthew 6:9-13 #Prayer #JesusTeachUsHowToPray

Daily Dose ♥  Matthew 6:9-13 (NKJV)

A conclusion to this weeks topic on Prayer, today's bible verse concludes how Jesus instructed his disciples how to pray. **Remember we are all his disciples as long as you are a born again christian; you have accepted Christ as your Lord & Savior.
Remember in yesterdays topic Jesus stressed that prior to praying:
  1. We should keep our prayers simple.  God listens to us no matter if our prayers are long or short.
  2. We shouldn't 'show off' or be boastful when we pray.  We are proud you have studied your bible verses but yelling on top of your lungs so the entire congregation could know how "well versed" you are is stupid.  Now if the 'holy spirit' has led you it's fine, but if not then stop it!
  3. Do not throw stones, don't be a hypocrite
  4.  Pray & study in a quiet place with your own words and needs, asking for forgiveness with thanks & praises to him.
  5. Respect, Respect, Respect, you are communicating with our Lord & Savior.
With these steps, Voila!  You are ready to pray the Lord's prayer.  I pray that this topic has guided some of you on effective prayer it is such a broad topic but this is just the beginning or stepping stone.  Remember faith without works is useless.   The more you take time to seek God the better you get to know him so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, take your own time to study, pray, and know God.  DO NOT depend on the Church or Pastor, they can guide you but cannot lead you to salvation.  May the Lord continue to Bless you and May your testimonies be great and exciting as you take this walk with me.  Have a Blessed weekend.

Love Y'all....  The Praying Sweetheart ♥

Summary on the Lords Prayer

  • Our Father which art in heaven means we're praying to our father, our creator who is in heaven.  We start the prayer out this way acknowledging God our Savior & so we know that we're praying to God our father and we're not alone.
  • Hallowed be thy name means holy is your name, we need to be respectful.
  • Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.  This part of the prayer says let your kingdom come; Heaven.  Let your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.  This means we are  praying that people would live in peace and love with one another the way it is in heaven.  It reminds us that we should be living the way God wants us to everyday.
  • Give us this day our daily bread means provide our wants & needs.
  • And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  This next part of the prayer is asking for forgiveness for our mistakes.  Forgiveness means that we are sorry for something we've done and we don't want to do it anymore.  But we also need to forgive people who have done wrong to us.  Sometimes others hurt us very badly, so we need to ask God to help us forgive them because it's really hard or we don't want to.  If we forgive others, God will forgive us.
  • And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  Is it sometimes tempting to do something you're not supposed to?  This part of the prayer is really cool because it asks God to help us to know the right thing to do.  To protect us against the evil that is in the world and keep us away from it.
  • For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.  The last part of the prayer is the best part!  For yours is the kingdom means that Heaven will last forever and will always be God's.  God also has all the power and all the glory FOREVER!  It makes me happy knowing that God will never die and he's the strongest and greatest.  With God we will always win!
Anyone can read the Lord's prayer, so it's important to think about what you're saying.  When you pray "give us this day our daily bread" think about all the things you have to be thankful for and how God has given you everything you need, or things you need to ask for, or pray for others.  When you pray "forgive us our debts" ask forgiveness for those things you did wrong.
Prayer is our special way of talking to God so remember to pray as many times as you can.  God loves you and wants to know everything about you and how you're doing.

Importance of Prayer

#Prayer #Prayer #CommunicatingWithGod

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Matthew 6:5-8 #Prayer #EffectivePrayer

Daily Dose ♥ Matthew 6:5-8 (NLT)
Teaching about Prayer

5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. 6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

7 “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. 8 Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

Please take heed to these verses as tools to effective Prayer.  I just want to stress on the importance of privately seeking God I know I mentioned this in another post but here is a scripture that backs what I have been saying.  Being an effective Christian to me is most importantly whats in the heart, your deeds, your works NOT criticizing others or looking down on others because you have memorized a few scriptures or have read the entire Bible yet you are still an empty vessel.  Yes, you may have been obedient in avoiding fornication and when you hear of a fellow Christians pitfalls you use that to judge them even though you may be dealing with lust inwardly or even mastubating.  That my dear in NOT Christianity!  As stated in the Bible you are a hypocrite!  Nobody is perfect.  We should ALL be holding hands and building each other up as Christians it's not a competition.
Through my walk in Christ it's really sad but I trust no one but my Savior.  I seek him privately and trust me if it's done right you will get that peace, joy & answers you have been seeking.  Now there are times that as weird as it may seem you may just don't have anything to pray about which is extremely strange:-) but hey we get those days when you are so overwhelmed and just don't know where or how to start.  Here are a few tools, hope this helps:-)  TGIF!  Have a Blessed day:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - 1st Thessalonians 5:17-18 #Prayer #PrayWithoutCeasing

  Daily Dose ♥ 1st Thessalonians 5:17-18

  • 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (NKJV)
  • 17 pray continually,  18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
  • 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. (NLT)

My apologies for posting so late today.  The devil is a liar!   It's been a very long day for me thank God for strength and revival.  May we continue to keep each other in Prayer.
This must be one of the most popular Bible scriptures on Prayer and I decided to post three different Bible versions because it means the same thing but different interpretations based on how you comprehend things.
In ALL circumstances we should be very prayerful it's a commandment from God and always be grateful.  Trust me I understand!  It's the hardest to pray when you are at your wits end or even in circumstances when you are Joyful.  Everything seems to be going well for you and you really don't feel the need to ask God for anything.  Remember, prayer is not always about me, me, me meaning asking, give me things etc.  It's about building a relationship with God.  Getting to know him and asking for his guidance and direction.  We MUST never stop communicating with God or fellowshipping with him.  Praying to me is like food.  Can your body survive without adequate nutrition?   Regardless of your food preference if you are Vegan, Vegetarian etc you still need food to energize, refresh or nourish your body.
So what good of a Christian are you without Prayer?  Remember Prayer does not have to be this "scary" thing, lets get out of Religion.  You are simply communicating with our Lord & Savior respectfully.
I pray for God's strength and anointing on you and may his grace and favor continue to reign upon you.
Have a Blessed night:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Matthew 5:13-16 #Prayer #Be a Salt&Light of the world

                 Daily Dose ♥ Matthew 5:13-16(NLT)

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.

14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Today's daily dose may seem long but what a powerful bible verse.  These are very strong prayer points we should be seeking the face of God on.
With all the purposes or benefits of salt what good is it if it's not pungent?  As a child of God we should always stay on our toes, making praying, studying, evangelizing the word of God our priority.  God has stated that we are the LIGHT of the world.  What good of a Christian are you if you are secretive about it or better yet if your actions don't prove you are indeed a Christian.  We should be proud of who we are as children of God, proud of his faithfulness towards us and others.  How can we show our good deeds?
  • Inviting people to church, Bible study, you can even evangelize to someone.  I know it gets a lil weird just walking up to people but you may be at work or school and someone confides in you about a situation they may be battling with.  That's an excellent opportunity for you!  When counseling others please try to be realistic and stick to the subject because I could relate on how easily bored or irritated I would get when someone was trying to counsel me when I was not a committed Christian:-)
  • Be charitable - pay your tithes (will emphasize on this in a different post), offering, donate to charities.  It doesn't have to be monetary.  I always donate items to my local Salvation Army (see link below) and every time I go there I am literally in tears because there are people whose lives depend on shopping at Salvation Army including their children.  Now I may pick up something vintage their for myself  once in a while but at least I have a choice and I am grateful to God about that.
  • Start a non profit in your community.  Does not have to be big, start small.  My charity is on education will emphasize more later, link is on this blog still working on it.  I have a local school in my neighborhood and one day I found box's of new books that was trash.  I could not believe it!  I hurled them into my lil NY apartment and will be sending them to a school in West Africa as well as a few other items such as Bibles and school supplies.  Just an idea!  A friend of mine told me that Bibles believe it or not are a luxury to people in some parts of the world, meaning it's unaffordable.  Also with corruption in most parts of the world donated items from big charities are usually sold to the locals.  Very unfortunate...
  • Don't hide your talents in church.  Participate in whatever area you best fit.
  • Last but not the least, TESTIFY, TESTIFY, TESTIFY!!!!   People get Blessed or hyped about the goodness of God in others.  Talk about it, scream about it, Do not hide it:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 141:2 #Prayer #PrayAllDay

Daily Dose ♥ Psalm 141:2 (KJV)
Let my prayer be set before You as incense,
The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Today I would like to share the most important steps to an effective &  fulfilled prayer.  This has worked for me others may have there way but I seriously prayed to God to show me how to communicate with him.  As I stated in an earlier post I was so caught up in 'Religion' that prayer was structured.  My mouth just moving, nothing heart felt, if I really needed something I boo hoo'd to God, if I got my request Yeah, if not then God hates me!  I never understood the effectiveness or method of praying until I researched it so PLEASE Do your homework:-)  This is what works for me.  I never start praying, bible study, church, anything without asking God to forgive me of any sins that may hinder his Blessings for me or understanding his word/message.

  • Ask God for forgiveness of your sins.  Ask for forgiveness for sins you acknowledge or for sins you may not be aware of.  Ask God to forgive you of anything that may hinder your prayer towards him.  Have a clear conscience.
  • Ask God to give you spiritual knowledge of wisdom  & understanding to seek his word
  • Thank & Praise God for his faithfulness in your life, you can be specific
  • And Voila!  You are ready to pray, meditate on his word, seek his face etc
  • After praying make sure you meditate silently for a few minutes or more up to you until you hear his voice.
Trust me if you follow these steps with an open mind and clear conscience whatever guidance you need, God will speak to you.  TRY it and let me know if otherwise:-)

MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - 1 Chronicles 16:11 #Prayer

Daily Dose ♥ 1 Chronicles 16:11 (KJV)
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually

Thank God for the beginning of another week.  For God's guidance and protection and for guiding us through our victories & struggles.
This week I want to emphasize the importance of PRAYER.
Some of  us have been tainted with the ideology that prayer is asking, asking & more asking and if God grants our request YEAH!!!!  and if not we get disappointed, we don't persevere, some of us even use this as an opportunity to backslide.

Prayer is communicating with God our creator.  Without researching about God, reading your Bible, understanding him it's kinda hard to build a relationship with him.  It's like meeting someone new.  You make an effort to get to know who they really are, what they like etc.  People use the excuse that oh you know God is the almighty being who forgives so I can just say a 'lil' prayer and that's all it takes to have a relationship with him.   Hey, I am not one to judge but if you really try taking the time to know God, understanding him, his works, the bible, then you build this relationship with God and prayer becomes less than a chore but more like talking to a friend, father, someone you are familiar with.

Prayer becomes less routine like, you find yourself communicating with him wherever you are.  You may be in a waiting room, the subway etc and find yourself meditating on a bible verse, acknowledging him.  The most important is taking time, creating that personal space to pray.  For me, at night is the best time, phones off, I have had dinner, I have really comfy pillows and I just relax and work on building my relationship with God.   Even on very bad days, I communicate my feelings to God and trust me I always find a solution that makes me feel much better and hopeful.  To be honest I also had to change my place of worship to a more prayer focused church and it has helped me tremendously.  I always say church is like a hospital you do not have to go to the same doctor forever, everyone has a specialty based on your needs.

If you have a family, a boo, kids, a full house, loud roommates whatever your living situation is trust me you can find that space and create time.

Remember as we start this week's journey on Prayer

  • Download the Bible on your phone, iPad, so many apps these days
  • Find a time thats convenient for you
  • Create a space thats convenient hey even if you have to lock yourself in the bathroom, whatever works
  • Start praying by giving thanks to God, search for scriptures on giving thanks, meditate on it, search for scriptures on whatever topic you may be interested in.  TRUST me it gets to be fun:-)
Relax & enjoy this journey, lets get out of 'Religion'.  Most importantly respect that you are communicating with our creator.   You cannot be praying and checking your text or cooking etc.  When you have to give a presentation to your boss or go on an interview what is your attitude like?  Let's check ourselves and remember that for who & what we are God is our creator.

May his Legacy live on - Martin Luther King Day

MELT MY ♥ Weekend Dose - Isaiah 40:31- Soar like an Eagle #EmpowerYourself #TheskystheLimit

Daily Dose ♥ Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

This is one Bible verse that we need to memorize, sing, write down, visualize...  It sums it all about empowerment.
To empower yourself - renew, refresh, build up yourself, embrace yourself, love yourself
To hope in the lord - Obey his word, have faith
Gods promise - to RENEW your strength.  No matter what flows, your past, you have been forgiven you are a new creation.  If you work towards renewing yourself, enlightening yourself God has promised, it is written that he WILL renew your strength.  Let Go of the past.  Work towards becoming a better you.
And GUESS WHAT?
He has promised he will never fail.   Not only will he renew your strength, you shall soar like the wings of an Eagle.  We all know who the boss of the birds are in the sky.  The sky would be the limit for you.  So do not believe you are tainted, cursed, a loser, weak, a bad person, too old to achieve your goals, have limitations etc.

Where there is a will there is a way.  No time for self pity.  God has given you all the tools you need so press on and succeed.  May Gods anointing be upon you all.  Have a Blessed weekend.  Luv Y'all:-)

Complaining about a silent God?

Complaining about a silent God with a closed Bible, is like complaining about no text messages with a turned off phone.
