What Does it Mean to Love God? - Nancy Missler - Koinonia House

Reflect on this question before reading the article in the link below 'Do you truly Love God?'    In my experience I thank God for bringing me out of false doctrine we should be very careful as Christians about the message being taught to kids or even adults. Growing up I remember you pray to God to bring you good things in life as long as you worship him, spread his word and be a 'good' person live by the commandments.  All will be well with you:-)

Well, what was missing is what happens when it seems like God is not answering your prayers and your life becomes a wreck no matter how hard you pray?  That's the part I honestly struggled with as an adult.  It took a lot of reading the scriptures, enlightening myself with testimonies and actually reflecting on the Idea of what it means to be born again that helped me.  Sometimes we get so caught up in 'religion' that we forget what it really means to love unconditionally.  The story of Job is just an amazing story of a man with faith and love for God.

I did just reflect on this question again and I can confidently say yes, I do love God unconditionally:-)
