Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Matthew 11:28 - Tired of the grind? Jesus isn’t just a break, He’s the way back to wholeness...

Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
:
Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’

To me, this is one of the most comforting invitations in the scriptures. When life’s too much, when you’re burnt out, anxious, and barely holding it together, Jesus doesn’t say, 'Try harder.' He simply says, 'Come to Me.'

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Habakuk 3:18 - Finding Joy in the Midst of the Mess

Habakuk 3:18 (NIV): 'Yet I will rejoice in the LordI will be joyful in God my Savior.'

πŸ“ When life get's chaotic with stress, uncertainty, burnout, et el, like Habakkuk, we can choose to rejoice in the Lord even when everything feels nuts. Real joy isn’t about perfect circumstances, it’s about trusting God as our Savior through it all.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Proverbs 11:17 - Cruelty isn’t power. Kindness is...

Proverbs 11:17 (NLT)
: 'Your kindness will reward you,
but your cruelty will destroy you.'

πŸ“ A quick soul check; how you treat others shapes the kind of life you live. If you want peace, healing, and favor, choose kindness, even when it’s NOT easy. Not because people always deserve it, but because you’re becoming the kind of person who reflects God’s Grace.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Luke 9:23 - Cross first. Feelings second. That’s the call...

Luke 9:23 (NLT): 'Then he said to the crowd, If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.'

πŸ“ Real connection with Christ starts with surrender. Many of us want closeness with God, but we don’t want to let go of control. We crave His peace but still cling to our plans. The truth is, you can’t hold onto both. Real connection with God begins the moment you surrender; not just when you’ve cleaned up your life, memorized a verse, or earned approval.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Psalm 37:5 - I let go with tears in my eyes… and found healing in God's hands...

Psalm 37:5 (NLT)
: ‘Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.’

πŸ“ Sometimes life feels like a never ending to-do list mixed with big dreams, quiet fears, and questions that don’t have easy answers. We want to get it all right, hold it all together, and still have peace. But here’s the good news; God never asked us to do life alone. David reminds us to commit everything...

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - James 4:8 - Drop the guilt. Pick up grace. Make your move.

James 4:8 (NLT)
: 'Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.'

πŸ“ James was writing to Jewish believers scattered outside Israel who were battling trials, temptations, and divided hearts. His tone is bold and practical, calling out spiritual compromise, awakening true commitment to Christ.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - 2 Corinthians 5:17 - No Salvation Without Transformation...

2 Corinthians 5:17(NLT)
: ‘This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!’

πŸ“ Believing in God is one thing, but belonging to Him is entirely different.
Salvation isn't just a prayer you repeat or a moment of emotion. It is a surrender that leads to change..

AttentionπŸ“ - No fluff, just faith. Let’s get back to the Word...

Hey friends,
Just a heads up. Some of these devotionals are a little longer lately not because I’m trying to be extra spiritualπŸ˜†, but because I’ve noticed something that’s been on my heart. A lot of us are settling for quick, feel-good quotes or half-baked bible verses (using a snippet of the verse), instead of really getting into fully studying the Bible.

This blog is me learning to slow down and study God’s Word for real, with purpose, not just for the vibes. But for truth and growth in my faith with Christ. I’m sharing the journey as it unfolds, and I hope you’ll grow with me along the way.  Truly appreciate all of your love & support.

Love you. Seriously. Let’s keep goingπŸ’•.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Nehemiah 8:10 - God doesn’t just rebuild walls., He restores hearts...

Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)And Nehemiah continued, 'Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!'

πŸ“The Book of Nehemiah is about the restoration of Jerusalem, after the Jewish exile in Babylon. It’s a historical and spiritual narrative that tells how God used Nehemiah, a Jewish cupbearer to the Persian king, to rebuild the city and renew the people's faith.  Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us that even in times of weakness, regret, or rebuilding, God’s joy is our strength.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - Thank You God, today feels like Grace...

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT): ‘Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.’

πŸ“ 1st Thessalonians, is a letter written by Paul to encourage and strengthen a new church he helped build in the city of Thessalonica (modern day Greece). Remember, not 'build' as in building a physical church. Instead he planted the church by preaching the gospel and leading people to faith in Christ. These new believers were facing persecution and spiritual pressure...
