Melt my ๐Ÿ’• Daily Dose - Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trying to do life on my own? When Trusting God Feels Hard

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT): 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. 6. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.’

๐Ÿ“Real happiness doesn’t come from having all the answers, it comes from knowing you’re not alone. Today's verse reminds us that when we let go of trying to control everything and trust God with our whole heart, peace follows.

When we look to God in every part of our lives, He lovingly guides us. And in that guidance we find lasting joy. Not just in where we’re going, but in who we’re walking with. So today, make the choice to surrender your plans, your worries, your need to understand, and trust that God’s path leads to peace, purpose, and true happiness๐Ÿ’จ.

Breathing Exercise ‘Breathe and Trust’

  1. Inhale slowly (4 seconds):
    “God, I trust You…”
  2. Hold your breath (4 seconds):
    “Even when I don’t understand.”
  3. Exhale slowly (4 seconds):
    “You are with me.”
  4. Hold (4 seconds):
    “You will lead me.”
  5. Repeat this cycle 3–4 times.
Let each breath be a quiet prayer, a reminder that you’re not alone, even when it feels like you are.

Let's Pray: Dear God, I don’t always understand what You’re doing, but I want to trust You. Help me let go of control and lean on you even when the path isn’t clear. Lead me, guide me, and remind me that You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus name we pray, Amen๐Ÿ™.

Think on it๐Ÿ’ญ:  'Letting Go of Control'

Verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

Reflect:  What’s one area I’m trying to control?  What would it look like to trust God with it?

Verse: “He will show you which path to take.”

Ask:  Am I letting Him lead today?

Pause. Pray. Journal.  Let God meet you where you are, not where you think you should be. God Bless You๐Ÿ’•
