Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - James 4:8 - Drop the guilt. Pick up grace. Make your move.

James 4:8 (NLT)
: 'Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.'

πŸ“ James was writing to Jewish believers scattered outside Israel who were battling trials, temptations, and divided hearts. His tone is bold and practical, calling out spiritual compromise, awakening true commitment to Christ.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - 2 Corinthians 5:17 - No Salvation Without Transformation...

2 Corinthians 5:17(NLT)
: ‘This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!’

πŸ“ Believing in God is one thing, but belonging to Him is entirely different.
Salvation isn't just a prayer you repeat or a moment of emotion. It is a surrender that leads to change..

AttentionπŸ“ - No fluff, just faith. Let’s get back to the Word...

Hey friends,
Just a heads up. Some of these devotionals are a little longer lately not because I’m trying to be extra spiritualπŸ˜†, but because I’ve noticed something that’s been on my heart. A lot of us are settling for quick, feel-good quotes or half-baked bible verses (using a snippet of the verse), instead of really getting into fully studying the Bible.

This blog is me learning to slow down and study God’s Word for real, with purpose, not just for the vibes. But for truth and growth in my faith with Christ. I’m sharing the journey as it unfolds, and I hope you’ll grow with me along the way.  Truly appreciate all of your love & support.

Love you. Seriously. Let’s keep goingπŸ’•.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Nehemiah 8:10 - God doesn’t just rebuild walls., He restores hearts...

Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)And Nehemiah continued, 'Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!'

πŸ“The Book of Nehemiah is about the restoration of Jerusalem, after the Jewish exile in Babylon. It’s a historical and spiritual narrative that tells how God used Nehemiah, a Jewish cupbearer to the Persian king, to rebuild the city and renew the people's faith.  Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us that even in times of weakness, regret, or rebuilding, God’s joy is our strength.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - Thank You God, today feels like Grace...

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT): ‘Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.’

πŸ“ 1st Thessalonians, is a letter written by Paul to encourage and strengthen a new church he helped build in the city of Thessalonica (modern day Greece). Remember, not 'build' as in building a physical church. Instead he planted the church by preaching the gospel and leading people to faith in Christ. These new believers were facing persecution and spiritual pressure...

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Lamentations 3:22-23 - Woke up covered in mercy, not regret…

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT)
:
‘The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.’

πŸ“Quick context... Lamentations is a poetic book in the old testament written after the fall of Jerusalem by the Babylonians. The city had been destroyed, the people were grieving, and everything felt hopeless. The author Prophet Jeremiah, is brutally honest about his pain, despair, and even anger.  But right in the middle of all the heartbreak, chapter 3 (Lamentations) takes a surprising turn...

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Hebrews 13:5 - It felt like distance. It was really protection...

Hebrews 13:5 (NLT): ‘...For God has said, ‘I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.’

πŸ“Ever felt disconnected from the God? Recently I really felt like God left.. Prayers felt dry, life felt loud, and I wondered if He went silent on me. What could I have possibly done?  Is it me, an enemy attack? So many thought's, but then I remembered ‘feelings aren’t facts’…

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Galatians 1:10 - From People Pleasing πŸ‘‰ God Pleasing: My Peace Pivot…

Galatians 1:10 (NLT): ‘Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.’

πŸ“Let’s be real,  people-pleasing is exhausting. You filter your words, shrink your dreams, or delay your purpose just to stay liked or safe. We have all done this at one point or another in our lives. Why? For acceptance, not to hurt others, protecting others, etc.  But following Jesus means surrendering that pressure.

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Philippians 4:6-7 - Worry less. Pray more. Peace hits different...

Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
: ‘6.Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7.Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.’

πŸ“Lately, my mind’s been on overdrive. Worry sneaks in before I even open my eyes most morning's. Thank God for today's verses. They offer a practical and powerful reminder for me to trade anxiety for prayer. Not saying try harder not to worry; simply states, Pray...

Melt my πŸ’• Daily Dose - Psalm 86:15 - Messy or tired, God’s love never bails, always fierce and patient...

Psalm 86:15 (NLT):
‘But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.’

πŸ“There are days we expect God to be disappointed in us, when we’ve prayed less, doubted more, or felt too tired to 'be spiritual.' But today's verse interrupts this fear with a gentle nudge; God isn’t harsh or impatient. He’s compassionate, merciful, and steady.
