8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
The Bible is indeed bread for daily use... It gives us Life, strength, it's food for our soul as children of God. What does your body become without food or proper nutrients? Think about it! Some of us eat organic to keep our body's healthy. We should apply the same concept to our soul, spirit, spiritual growth, our anointed aura. I understand sometimes in the early stages of being born-again some bibles may be a bit difficult or boring to comprehend. It's more like you are memorizing and not truly getting a grasp of what you are reading. Think about reading your favorite novel and how you make an effort to find that perfect book. That's how the Bible is supposed to be for us as children of God. There are no rules, make it interesting! Find a Bible edition that gets you excited. One that you can understand.
I highly recommend this Bible for Bible study or quiet time; Life Application Study Bible NLT. It has helped me so much. It makes Bible Study much more interesting for students/beginners. I love this Bible! It gives you a detailed information about the chapter, the history, and how it applies to everyday life. A quick FYI, I prefer buying the book rather than downloading the app on my phone or any electronic gadgets, why? Because I get easily distracted. I hate being in the middle of studying and a text comes in, so annoying:-) Quiet time is for my God who supplies all my needs and loves me unconditionally so all gadgets are turned OFF. You may be more disciplined than I am so it's totally up to you:-)
