Held by Grace: A Prayer When You Need God to Move

πŸ“I have an upcoming court date and kindly ask for your prayers for breakthrough. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 20:15, ‘The battle is not yours, but God’s.’ I’m sharing my prayer for anyone facing a similar storm, may the Lord be our defender, our provider, and our peace. We declare victory in Jesus name. Amen.

Let's Pray: πŸ“Before you start, take a moment to release any bitterness or resentment in your heart. Confess your sins and ask God for His mercy and forgiveness. Sit in stillness, meditate, and quiet your soul in complete surrender and humility.

Heavenly Father,

As I prepare to face court tomorrow, I come before You in humility and trust. My heart is heavy, Lord, but I choose to cast all my cares upon You, because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). You said in Isaiah 41:10, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” Lord, I will not fear, because You are with me in this.

You said in 2 Chronicles 20:15, “Do not be afraid or discouraged… for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” So I surrender this battle to You, Lord. Step into this situation with power and mercy. Go before me into that courtroom and speak on my behalf.

I stand on Psalm 34:17, that “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” Lord, hear my cry today. Lord, you see my living situation, please step in and be my refuge and provider.
Cover my home with Your protection and let justice be seasoned with mercy.  As Your Word says in Psalm 91:1, ‘Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.’

You promised in Romans 8:28 that “in all things You work for the good of those who love You.” Even in this hardship, work it for my good. Let this be the place where I see Your faithfulness, not my downfall.

I also cling to Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.” Be that help for me now. Strengthen my mind, calm my heart, and grant me wisdom to speak clearly and peacefully.

Lord, in Philippians 4:6–7, You said to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God… will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” I bring You this request now: Show me Your mercy. Let peace guard my mind. Give me favor with everyone involved.

Lord, For anyone else facing a similar situation, feeling uncertain, afraid, or need an emergency breakthrough, I lift them up to You. Please shelter them, provide for them, and give them peace. Remind them that You are a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We place our trust in You, Lord. Let Your favor surround us like a shield. In Jesus’ name, amen.

I trust You, Lord. You are my Defender, my Provider, and my Sustainer. Thank You that I am not alone. Thank You for what You are doing even the things I cannot yet see. I shall testify Lord, In Jesus’ name, Amen.
