10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
God's approval is what we should always strive for as children of God. Human beings WILL let you down but God's love never fails. In today's society we become so concerned about 'fitting in', we want to be accepted at work, school, with new friends, neighborhood, even church. Some of us would quit going to church because despite the great uplifting messages, we feel like we just don't 'fit-in' with the rest of the congregation, so we quit. Are you going to gain acceptance from God or from man? I used to be guilty of that until I got a clear message from God. I have gone from seating in the back of the church to the first three rows in the front. Why? Because I made a commitment to seek & know God personally. I could care less who is seating besides me, I am there, focused to receive the word of God. If you think I don't have a nice wardrobe, or my hair's a mess that's your problem. God will judge you for that. I am so happy that I got out of that mind frame, it's indeed a Blessing Blocker trust me. Your focus should be on God not people. Get out of being sensitive not everyone is obliged to speak to you in church you don't know the mountain some may be battling just go to church and focus on YOU, do you, get uplifted, it should be all about you. Even in other situations, God has created us all beautiful in his way everybody's not going to like you. And if they don't they didn't create you so pls don't let it get to you. You have a friend in Jesus pray to him to lead you to friends who would build and uplift you not tear you down.
Stop comparing yourselves to others also, Do not seek approval from others, build up your self esteem, empower yourself, if you don't the devil will continue to use people to tear you down. Think about the suicide rates lately? If you are being bullied do not be afraid to report it to the authorities. Fast & pray to God to fight your battle and TRUST me you will have a testimony. Going into my past, Junior High was the hardest for me. I was bullied, was not 'fashionable', but I remember my mother telling me to persevere and pray to God for a bright future. It was hard but I focused my energy and attention on my books, didn't have that many friends which was fine and now guess what? Who laughs last laughs the best. I see some of my bullies from Junior High in events and now they WANT to be my friend lol, it's crazy. Because I fought through it and became the best I can be. Now I may not be where I want to be but compared to where I was the sky is the limit. I do not know why I am going back to my Junior High days but there may be some one reading this who may be struggling with low self esteem or any other issues. There is nothing that God cannot fix just focus on being a WINNER. In a couple of years you shall give your testimony. Nobody's worth you taking your life or even feeling low about yourself. If you hate my clothes, I will take my case about you to the Lord. If they get physical tell the authorities and fast and pray fervently. God will see you through. Remember, it's all about self empowerment, focus, love God and strive to be a WINNER. Our God is an awesome God he never fails if we seek him and obey his commands. Put on that armor & Fight, Put God first, he is waiting, he loves you. ♥
