MELT MY ♥ Daily Dose - Psalm 136:1-4 #Gratitude #AcceptGod'sPlan #EmpowerYourself

Daily Dose ♥ Psalm 136:1-4 (ESV)
Thanksgiving to God for His Enduring Mercy
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
    For His mercy endures forever.
2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
    For His mercy endures forever.
3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!
    For His mercy endures forever:

Gratitude is one of the keys to growth, fulfillment, and empowering yourself.
To those who are grateful, more is given. To those who are not, more is taken away

Nothing has ever happened or can happen to you that is not a gift and a blessing, but it’s difficult to be thankful until you find the hidden benefit in what may seem at first to be a negative event.
Forget about working on your weaknesses, focus on developing your strengths.
Everyday is a Blessing to us.  What we may take for granted is a blessing to others.  As God's chosen we must learn to show gratitude even in the dry season in life.  The fact that God's wisdom and word is with us is a Blessing.  Imagine not knowing God.  I always say I would have been in the Psych ward had it not been for God's faithfulness.  He always makes a way where there is no way if you stay faithful and obey his word.

Try this everyday when you wake up and before you go to bed, list a minimum of 5 things that you appreciate God for that day.  If you lost your temper at work and you got written up, thank God that you did not get fired:-)  If you are broke but can afford a slice of bread, thank God for that some people have zero.  If your ex cheated on you, thank God through the heartache you never know what God forsee's in the future that he is preventing you from.
A quick testimony about a broken heart couple of years ago my boyfriend of 4 years broke up with me with no warning.  In my eyes he was my husband and you can't even imagine the heartache.  You know in bed for days, love songs, memories lol     My Pastor counseled me to give thanks to God and accept Gods plans for my life.  Fast forward 5 years later he got married, had 3 beautiful children, great 'American dream' story, middle class, however the tragedy is the devil used him to kill his entire family including himself with no suicide note or anything.    How horrific, I was mortified the poor children and wife but guess what, that could have been me had I not accepted God's plans... trust me it was hard, but I was obedient to authority and thanked God through the break up.
Remember, Gratitude, obedience Pray, acceptance, Faith, Joy, healing, persevere and see what God has in store for you.

Have a blessed weekend:-)
