MELT My ♥ Daily Dose - Isaiah 58:11 (ESV)
'And the Lord will guide you continually
and satisfy your desire in scorched places
and make your bones strong;
and you shall be like a watered garden,
like a spring of water,
whose waters do not fail.
God's plan always turns out to be the best however it has to be in his timing. Remember, his timing... Not ours! The hard part is waiting. This process is very painful, hard, annoying, tiring, we become impatient and start questioning if God is really listening or if he truly understands our situation. The devil may even use this as an opportunity to annoy you more by sending you the opposite of what you are seeking from God. Has that ever happened to you? This is when you practice true faith and reject it. I always specify praying for the anointing to discern. It will be easier for you to get rid of self and distinguish if something is from God or the devil. When it's from God it feels right. The pros outweigh the cons. Even if it's not the direct answer you wanted from God whatever he gives you still feels right. You feel a sense of contentment which is opposite if its from the devil.
Don't forget we have a God who never fails, who answereth by fire. When God is silent that means that he is doing something for you. He is taking you through a process of endurance, practicing faith, directing your steps to what's best for you. This is the time that you should just listen and trust God. Trust his will for your life. Continue to seek him diligently even if you are so overwhelmed that you have no words, pray to him in the spirit. Continue to persevere and your breakthrough will come in Jesus name ♥
