📍Real rest is not always about 'checking out,' or 'taking a break.' It can also be about creating a bond with God. We often think rest means stopping everything; no to-do lists, no noise, no pressure...
While this is greatly essential for our mental health, the deepest kind of rest isn’t always about doing less. It’s also about drawing closer to our Lord & Savior.
True rest comes when you check in with God, not just check out from the world as we often look forward to doing😉. You don’t have to wait until life is quiet or perfect to meet Him. God is already walking with you through your packed schedule, your overthinking, your silent battles, and those bold dreams you’re scared to say out loud. His presence isn’t a destination; it’s a daily promise. And wherever His presence is, peace shows up, Joy settles in, and your soul finally breathes, Amen🙌.
So stop stressing over whether you’re ‘doing enough.’ Just pause. Breathe. Smile. You are NOT carrying this alone. God’s not just strengthening you, He is also inviting you to rest in Him. And that is more than enough reason to rejoice. Glory be to God💌.
Let’s Pray: Dear God, please help me to stop striving and start resting in You. Remind me that Your presence is my peace. I welcome You into every part of my day. In Jesus name, Amen.
