The people you surround yourself with will have a lot of impact on your life. Surround yourself with positivity, people who share similar goals with you, who will tell you the truth about your actions, uplift you, and help you through life. We should have zero tolerance for foolishness or whatever will bring us down. If you have to be alone so be it, God will bring the right people into your life. Walk away from anything that's not building you up. Life can be too short to waste on nonsense. With God's strength and a focus on your goals, peer pressure, or anything that may deter you will not even be an issue because even the enemy understands when you are focused and have solid faith that God is with you. Changes are hard, very hard... however this change may be needed for you to fulfill God's plan for your life. Let Rob or Jane have a lot of cool friends or entourage, thats them! Focus on YOU!
This also applies to relationships! If you are in a stagnant relationship, trust God and walk! You need to be with a partner who you can tag team with, set goals, build a future together, not a draining partner who you have decided to "settle" for because you have given up hope on your love life! It's never too late, have faith, walk, and God will lead you to what you deserve. It may take time or maybe not, however use the time to focus on building you and everything will fall into place.
With Family, Family, Family... OMG, I have been here. How can you run from a toxic family when they may be all you've got and may even support you financially? Pray, Pray, Pray and stay focused. Have a goal, keep your eye on the price. Emulate the saying 'like water off a ducks back,' do NOT let anything get to you and the negativity will bounce right off you. It will be hard, but trust me doors will open and lead you to a better atmosphere and once you flee just keep a civil relationship. Keep ya business to yourself and stay out of others affairs or gossip. God's got ya, overall stay away from toxic people! ♥
