Daily Dose ♥ Romans 12:19-21 (ESV)
19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it[a] to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
The Lord is asking us to forgive and leave it all in his hands for it is not a war for us to fight... the battle is not ours it's the Lords. As long as you live in obedience, 'do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (V21). ' Honestly this may be hard in some situations but we always have to remember that God has our back. Continue being the best christian you can be by showing love & kindness and let the Lord fight your battle. Pray about it, Let it Go, forgive and Let the Lord take control.
A lot of non believers may think you are stupid but trust me when God fights your battle, it's the best... I remember an instance with my mom at the time I was not a born again Christian. She was being literally bullied at work by two coworkers and I wanted to go to the Job and confront the coworkers:-) but she looked at me and said 'I will fast & pray for them. I have left it in God's hands he will fight my battle for me'. I was still very angry but I let it go. My bros & sis I tell you no lie a week later both bullies at her job got fired for other reasons but to my understanding it was something that required being written up not fired. The other coworkers actually began to fear her lol, saying wow nobody should mess with 'Sara'. (My mom's been a devout born-again Christian my entire life).
Take your case or situation to the Lord, forgive and continue living your life. God's promise will be fulfilled so let it go. Do not live in bitterness due to unforgiveness nobody should have that much Power over you. With unforgiveness comes anger, bitterness, just a negative spirit that weighs you down. Cheer up and Let God prove to you that whatever he says will come to pass. Have a Blessed day and I pray that whatever heaviness we are carrying in our hearts, may we not be hardhearted but obey God's command and forgive. Live in peace, less stress, you have an awesome God who loves & cares for you♥
