Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause against an ungodly people, from the deceitful and unjust man deliver me! For you are the God in whom I take refuge; why have you rejected me?
Why do I go about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling! Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy, and I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
This psalm is a song for those moments when one doesn't feel like singing which is me today. My spirit is really cast down. I have been beaten down a lot and today I feel tired. Are you in a similar situation? What person of faith hasn't felt like this? The devil is a liar! I choose this psalm because It is a poem of faith for these cold nights when one doesn't feel the flames of faith flickering too warmly in one's soul. It is a psalm for those times when one feels separate from God.
Lord I pray that you send down your light on me as well as anyone in this situation today. Your word is a lamp to my feet and I am holding on to your promise. I praise you for putting a smile on my face because by faith my situation has changed. If there is any sin in my life or any of our lives please have mercy upon us and do not deliver us over to the hands of our enemies due to disobedience or any unGodly covenants we may have made out of ignorance. Any curse of limitation, a caged life or spirit of impossibility that the devil may have cast upon us I bind you by the power of the blood of Jesus and send you to the pits of hell. For it is written in Isaiah 54:17 that "No weapon formed against us shall prosper; And every tongue that accuses us in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD. And so shall it be in Jesus name.
Let's hang in there by faith, God's promise has never failed and our situation will change. Lets pray for each other and hang in there. God is in control. I love you and have a blessed evening ♥
