Daily Dose ♥ Isaiah 43:18-19 (NLT)

18
“But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
19
For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

It's 2015! Y-E-A-H!  With the New Year comes New Beginnings.  I usually don't make any New Years resolutions however with January comes heading back to the gym, vows to be more frugal with my finances et el...
This Year I  want to do something different.  I always pray for spiritual growth but to be honest I pray, fast, but need to KNOW my scriptures...  Memorize and understand them.   Apply them to my daily life not having to google a scripture all the time.  Well, I am well versed in the book of Psalms lol
So, I would be sharing my daily scriptures with you and God has led me to start with the topic  'New Beginnings'.  For this week, All scriptures would be based on this topic.
The challenges in life can be brutal.  Through my storm one thing I have learned is to always lean on Christ.
As I go through my storm, I finally see a glimpse of a rainbow:-)
By faith I am holding on to this scripture as it is written and I claim it by the blood of Jesus.

Random facts; Book of Isaiah
  • Isaiah a Prophet of God was primarily called to prophesy to the Kingdom of Judah. Judah was going through times of revival and times of rebellion. Judah was threatened with destruction by Assyria and Egypt, but was spared because of God’s mercy. Isaiah proclaimed a message of repentance from sin and hopeful expectation of God’s deliverance in the future
  • Old Testament
  • What is the role of a prophet? It’s in the Bible, Deuteronomy 18:18-19, NKJV. "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him."
